Race of Turkey Results

Saidy takes the spoils.
It was a great day for Rami Saidy, who took his first win at the Race of Turkey. After a disastrous Season 1 yielded few point, the Brit left with 10 points and a great chance for the season ahead. The second two steps of the podium were filled with AI drivers, as second placed Jonny Kane took the championship lead. Behind them was Ron Squire, the Welshman sits second in the championship after scoring points at each round. It was a disaster for both Smokers Paradise, King Motorsports and Online Racing, both having two drivers retire from the race. The home fans were left disappointed after home driver Omer Said ran wide overtaking Rui Martins and rejoined into the path of William Neron, knocking the Turk out of the race. Defending champion Aidan Keranen is still to score a point this season.

@Rami Saidy, congratulations on the win. Do you think you can challenge for the title now?
@Ron Squire, 3 races, 3 points finishes. Can you keep this up?
@Ben Herbert @Milos Ancevski a first race without scoring any points, but you still lead the constructors championship. What is your aim for this year?

In other news, I have discovered that the split bug is not a bug, I have just been doing something wrong (but not obviously wrong) when editing the video. Therefore the problem should be gone.:D:roflmao::laugh::giggle:

However, in the process of working out the problem, for some reason, three clips were deleted from the video.
They were the build up to the Sigoulakis/Utzer crash and a roll from Rizki that he managed to escape. But most annoyingly, the other clip was the retirement on Nakajima. a small clip from Diaconescu sent him into a massive roll and crash that was the best one I've seen for these races. I'm sorry you guys are unable to see it.

Yes, thank you, thank you. It's a great win for me and the team, last season was very difficult and what a place to get your maiden win. The first lap was rather hectic, and our chances at a good result were quite slim, but we held in there and the nver give up attitude in the team was amazing, so this one is for the Team! Its early days in the Championship Race (pun intended) but we will try our best at my home race and hopefully the best is yet to come ;)

Can you give me another engine, please. Smokers paradise is smoking this one up too much

Speed +0,25

I don't want this to go like GP4 with loads of retirements. The team is working on a fix, and I hope we can do better next race

ANCEVSKI!!!!!!!!! You pushed me off at the first corner of the race and might have cost me a podium
Turn 1 was an effing nightmare for the whole race. Rizki was sent rolling there right at the end, but managed to escape after spending about 30 seconds driving off the top of the tyre wall.
