Rules:
If you have not entered the server and driven a few laps with fellow drivers before we go to qualifying you are to late for that session. Please think of your fellow drivers and get out on track with them, watch how they drive, you can't race with guys you have not seen drive.
We ALL brake a little differently and drive the corners differently, get used to how they drive and then we can all race more safely.
If you drop out of the server during qualifying you can return.

This is being held in our Club, using Club Rules, and should be driven in that spirit.

Le Mas du Clos is always a great little track in the right cars (not over powered, decent grip, relatively nimble), and these are certainly the right sort of cars.

R1 was a little lonely, the front 3 were just too fast in the first half and pulled away from me, and I was just a little too fast in those first half dozen laps or so for the boys behind to stay with me - by the end of the race though, most of the gaps were pretty static, and promised a good R2.

Q2 showed as much with a ridiculously small gap from pole to about p7 (< 1sec?). Sven got past as I got a little too slidey in one of the turns (I want to say the last turn), Jack was right behind me as well, and the front 3 were only pulling away by the difference between clear track driving and battling. As soon as they closed up together, laptimes were pretty equal iirc. Sven got loose a couple of times and held on to them manfully, but then it was one time too many and he had one of those slow powerslides of doom to let me & Jack through. Allan then had an issue going up the hill, letting Me & Jack through again. As I said to Jack on TS after, the relative closeness of laptimes meant Al probably wasn't going to be able to catch Jack by race end, and I was happy enough with my gap to Jack. I closed in a little on Nuno, but I suspect he was just staying clean because Denis was too far ahead for him to have a chance for the win. Mistake free was definitely the way forward

Good night's racing - thanks Den & RD
