@Benutzername, you were the highest driver to use FanBoost. How much did it help you?​

Don't want to sound rude, but the FanBoost improves the performance of the car obviously. Therefore it helped, of course. Good to see that there are fans of me from Australia, too. Anyway, the 12 points are very important, another double DNF would have hit us hard. The situation is still difficult, though, but my pace looked decent.

ANA STUNS THE PACK
Vimal Ana took a shock pole for e-Scuderia Toro Rosso in Sao Paulo. Jimmy Laad put DTK Racing back on the front row. Lower down the order, all 2KF1's line up together. The grid is reduced to 21 with Steven Poirier's absence, but Tapio Rinneaho still managed to put the sole Shark onto 5th.

ANCEVSKI PICKS HIS WAY THROUGH CHAOS

Milos Ancevski took victory in the Sao Paulo RDe-Prix after a spate of accidents wiped out most of the field. 3 drivers who scored points all ended the day in the wall! Tim Engberink moved into the championship lead after a cautious drive to second ahead of James McNamara. Kederer got his first points of the season, as did Rautavaara, Rinneaho, Keranen and Buurlage. The first accident happened early on after Nathan Cornes lost a wheel in the first lap. Instead of pulling over, the 2KF1 driver tried to carry on, missed the pit entry and eventually ground to a halt at the end of the next straight. Rather than driving around him on lap 2, Vimal Ana decided to smash into the Australian driver, causing considerable damage to half the pack in the ensuing pile-up, with Laad and Black joining Ana on the sidelines. Jamie Cocks was heading for a decent result late in the race. As he approached Pablo Diehl and the last corner, the brakes failed on the 2KF1 car, and he took Diehl into the barriers with him.
