rf2 ffb feels bad

my ffb feels bad with every car i have on every track i have, i even tried to reinstall the game to reset everything and start from scratch but i still can't feel the tires and stuff like that
theres obviously a issue somewhere when i prefer project cars 2 ffb over rf2
i have a T300RS btw and no clipping in game

Check the Thrustmaster driver settings, if damper is at the default setting (100%). It must be at 100%, otherwise there's no tyre feeling.

Don't ever edit the default profiles save a copy and edit that.

I'm a bit late to the party, but just wanted to thank you, Durge Driven, for your tidbit of advice regarding line 972; it's like adding the old Real Feel of rFactor 1. This has given me so much confidence and ability to finesse cars at much faster speeds. Thanks again.

Yes it is one of the worst in sim racing.
G29 wheel rotation issues and also Engine sound very quiet due to sound issue.
Not much to recommend in this sim.

Used to be much better.

that is why there is a second option for wheel rotation. Not a bug so much as many older wheel's software is not compatible with the current method of wheel rotation. Click on the < and choose custom. Then set your range to 900°. Make sure the Range Set By Vehicle is checked.
As far as AI behavior. First choose an official carset and Track. 3rd party tracks are often quite good, but to really test if something is buggy, you need to use S397 cars with an S397 track.
Finally, if you have done any editing of your player.json file, that can cause havoc with AI. Rename Player.json and then restart rF2. You will get a fresh clean version of the player.json file.
2nd Finally. Try not to restart races using the escape key. The game gets less reliable when you attempt multiple restarts.

I dmit, for some it could be a nightmare, for me, it took me 5 seconds to put the slider at 50%, set up my buttons, then it was ok, no really hard for me, probably the easiest game I have to configure...
