I guess so For a 30 minutes race and an average lap of 1.11.5 its...

(30 x60) / 71.5 = 25.2 --> so it would be 26 laps to be safe

I set the fuel for 25 laps, completed somewhere around 24 and still had enough for another 6.

I set fuel for 28 and had 11 left!?!?

Depends on your driving style, if you used higher gears in the low speed corners then you'll burn more fuel (higher revs), where as if you use lower gears, and short shift in places then you'll save some fuel.

After two spectacular rollovers my race was over.

The Clio used around 0.7 ltr per lap

I had about 10ltrs left, but that was intentional, i wanted the extra stability that the weight of the fuel in the back of the car
