I'm hoping I can switch off from everything outside of my rig 2moro and just concentrate for 2 hours and enjoy myself. I get so few races these days that I've lost my ability to focus on what I'm doing and ignore the family and everything else for a while.

My wife bless her never complains when I want to race and she lets me get on, but as I race only a couple of times a week at the weekend I cannot get my head into it. My tiredness and stress from day to day life just wont go away for a while. When I was doing the club races most nights I started to concentrate without difficulty what so ever.

I just want to have a good solid performance and be proud of my efforts 2moro regardless of where I finish. That's my battle 2moro.

I'm looking 4ward to it and I'm feeling more comfortable with the car around this track now. Just need to FOCUS :struggle:.

LOL, Mtommi, that's nowhere near a bad lap. For D2, it's actually quite good. (Take a look at me - still stuck in the 1:28s... :thinking

I've only spent about an hour practising so far, have a broken toe and it's only just good enough to use the pedals with (thank god I can now). 1.28.9 is my best so far and I'm in D1 >.<

Like Rhys said that's a decent time. My best is only a 1:27.2, but I know that if I try to run that pace during the race then I'll end up binning it. With these tricky cars a good clean run should help you pick off positions through attrition. With 250 laps under your belt in a few days should help you do a good race if you don't pressure yourself to go too fast.

That's something I have to remember myself 2nite. There are tracks in the season that I know I can push at and that this one is a circuit I just want to get through and hopefully pick up some points.

Guys currently i am running a little maintenance schedule on the server. It hasnt been rebooted for quite some time.

I have removed all the old content and at the moment a disc de-fragmentation process is running.

All to insure that we have the best possible performance for tonights races without the slightest chance of something occurring that we don't want.

So in case you are looking online for the servers you have to keep a little patience until they are up.

Why on earth report an absence on the day of the race when somebody is moving houses. That could have done way before!

This is the Absence thread of the RaceDepartment Super Touring League. Here team owners can report when one or both of their cars aren't going to enter one of the races....

Having in mind the above quote (absence of cars), the below post isn't needed here...
