AC RDEC 2023 Registration

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I would happily run a few races in it on it's own too if that sweetens it :) Drives like a GTE car in fast forward. It's 10seconds a lap quicker at Daytona roadcourse. Brakes lock up, but you have loads of grip and excellent TC.

I'm game for either option! Whatever brings the biggest grid and happy drivers :D

That said, I took the IER out on a test drive at Fuji, at least the Fuji version we raced previously and there seems to be some bump in the track that doesn't agree with the car leading up to T1 around the 100m  Maybe it's just something about the default set up? Lots of options to choose from there and I haven't gone through it too much. The audi didn't seem to react as badly on default set up to the bump.

If were talking about other LMP1 options including paid, VRC has some nice ones you can get individually for $3.99+ The "Revenga r13" is a favorite of mine. https://www.virtual-racing-cars.com/p/prototype-revenga-r13/ Just another option :)

Multi driver sounds like a great idea and something we haven't had in AC here before, but...........if everyone buddied up it will reduce cars on track by 50%, so would need full grids to be interesting.

Question
If we were to run a non-hybrid P13C instead of the kunos hybrid cars how would people feel about it? It's $4.95+. On one hand it's one of the best and the most detailed car I've seen in the game. On the other hand the GTE drivers are buying a car they might never race.

This one

Let me know what you think!
I have several mod LMP cars and their are some great examples out there. Would it mean some BOP testing though? I'm up or it whatever though.

Just read Brian's suggestion again, the mod would replace Kunos so if one LMP make then no BOP required.:thumbsup:

This might work as an alternative LMP choice.

Non -hybrid, fast, loads of grip and a free download on RD.

One suggestion, especially as the races are 1.5 to 2 hours, would be to start free practice earlier or reduce it by 30 minutes. That would make the race finish a little better for people that are working the next day, especially the ones in Europe.

No problem if it's already decided but I thought I would ask.

That's already happening ;) The race starts when qualy usually would.

Related to that and your other Q there will be additional qualy events on the friday and saturday. For alot of us further west making qualy for 1950 - 2000 is difficult. Multiclass big track qualy really needs to be 30 minutes minimum too.

Ye they wouldn@t be bopable. The p13 I linked is slower and easier to drive. Should make for a better experience all round. Less lapping events and a more sensible closing speed.

It will only go ahead if we can have a mix of teams and single drivers. Havn't been able to test that yet.

Could you put me down as a reserve/swap driver? I probably won't be able to make all sessions but I'd love to participate! Happy to drive either car, they are both a ton of fun and I personally love endurance racing so I am glad to see this series exist!

Thanks Brian.

I'll look at the test event and see how I get on. Are there plenty of places? If not can I provisionally sign up in the BMW?

I'm keen to try longer races, I have been doing ok in the 1 hour multiclass in the Mazda.
