QUOTED:
Track:after a lot of time searching a legal version of indi,we have decided to use Woodgreen to replace it.
Is this a joke? Tell me it is.
In a case it isn`t a joke, why such a strange decision? This track is a killer ... hard to drive on it.
After reading Bram's "end of RD" thread, will I be considered one of the bad guys because I signed up for this league knowing that I will be missing a race or two because of previously planned family events? If so, then I will remove myself.
i've drive Woodgreen myself and find it fun...a bit hard but fun, thanks guys for your feedback, let me see what i can do.Not 100% sure on the choice myself, perhaps i should have brought it up a few days ago when i did some testing. Woodgreen, i thought, was going to be a shorter version of Indy, but its bumpy as hell and very hard to drive consistently on. My suggestion is to use Jacksonville, Orchard Lake (both default) or use this if its ok (composite track)
I did suggest a few tracks a while back, Woodgreen being one of them - not sure its such a great choice. There are also a load of TPSCC tracks on rFactor Central - no idea if these are conversions or legal.
It is fun, but you really want 30 people driving the track for 500 miles? Just asking for trouble.i've drive Woodgreen myself and find it fun...a bit hard but fun, thanks guys for your feedback, let me see what i can do.
could you please wait ?as it have been say before, after the prequal day,25 drivers will join the race....the car and the final track will be announced before the end of the week.It is fun, but you really want 30 people driving the track for 500 miles? Just asking for trouble.
IMO this RD500 is a bit of a mess, it needs sorting out. We need to know which car we're using, which track, and whether we are going to alter the GDB file to allow more competitors. Everything is too sketchy at the moment.
