Congrats to the podium. Excellent pace, especially Sun!

I wasn't happy with my connection (again) and chose not to post a qualifying lap in order to start from the back row. It was an enjoyable race this way as I made my way into the top 10. Unfortunately, with 2 laps to go there was an incident into T1 which dropped me down a few spots.

Many thanks to Chris for organizing! I still wish this weren't happening at 4AM my time. No amount of coffee can improve my focus.

Until next time.

Qualifying kinda went ok here. Shaved off a few tenths of my PB, but there were a lot of fast guys out there in Q. Impressive.

On the other hand the race sucked. Apologies for what happened at the chicane on Lap 1. I blew my braking point and totally expected to wipe everyone out. Sorry if you had to scramble to avoid me. Next lap, spun at T8 after clipping the grass, and then smacked the wall two laps later after hitting the curb at T8. Wings were toast so I pitted.

After the pit I came out and did pretty decent for a while turning some good laps, but just small mental errors kept me from staying on the track. I have the pace to stay in the mid-pack, but I am just too inconsistent to avoid at least one major screw up each race.

Congrats to Sun and the rest of the podium!

^^This
I had some sleep, but at the beginning of the race my brain was like "Fsck, where did all the people come from, what gear am I supposed to be in, where is that brake marker, shiiiiiiiiite."

Q: 11th
R: 5th

Didn't exactly expect to repeat the result from last week's club race where I had pole, but also not to start from 11th only despite improving my previous best by over half a second.

Had a good start and could get past @Jeremy Talbot, almost got @Chark as well. Was on the inside in turn 4 and oversteered at bit, which unfortunately meant a contact and slight damage on Charles' end, not on mine though. Was behind him after that for the next couple of laps. Got past him in lap 5, after having been side by side for the first 4 corners. Epic racing there!
Was running in 7th then, slowly catching @Chris Stacey and @Jimlaad43. Despite them battling for like half the race I never got in a position to try a move myself. With 3 laps to go Chris missed his braking point for turn 1 while defending against Ed, causing them to crash and allowing me to slip past for 5th :D. Held on to it until the end.
All in all a result way better than expected after quali. Congrats to the podium and winner @Sun Levi for yet another dominating performance!

Did TNT win any points? Alex? Jez?
Looking forward to being back in, just got email saying NBN now ready :)

I know graphics shouldn't be the most important part of a sim, but holy crap those are bad. That's like PS2 level right there.

@Chris Stacey , what app do you use to show current lap etc etc in your replay?
I am using the basic one and Essentials and QV1 and am getting nothing in your replay file.
No lap count, no time etc etc.
I just use the standard lap counter provided by Kunos.

because it's my replay there's no way seeing exactly what lap you're on, you just have look at the Simresults page for your fastest lap and then try and find it in the replay....

Welcome to Kunos Simulazioni
