Rossi's rocket seemingly worked for Hulk and Ricc, but it only hit Clark, Newgarden, Simona and Rosberg.

That was a good battle of the Nico's in those final laps!

Also, 3/4 Aston Martins made the finish line!!!!! The retiree didn't have a failure either, rather crashed out before his engine could fail :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Lambo domination
But we can't have the customer beating the manufacturer, need to work on that one.

And damn are those Michelins crap. Low tyre wear, tyre mastery at 5, and the softs are dead after 4 laps.

@Slyfrequency - Step by step you came to this position, It must be feeling great to finally achieve a win?
@kedy89 - Will you let your guys fight freely in the final race?
@rubaru - At the opening laps, your drivers seemed to on par with Elysium and BRT. But the 2nd half was different, as it seems. What happened?
@Azabadaza - Do you blame Nico for the mistakes he did today? Or you are just happy that you finally got a race without gremlins?
@TTupsi - At some parts, Silvestro was right there with Ricciardo, then she fell down. What went wrong?
@Aidan Keranen - There are serious criticism regarding Jenson's performance this season. What do you think about him? It is worth mentioning Mika also made several mistakes today? Will we see a driver line-up shuffle for the next season?
@Milos - So, it was the pitcrew training programme today? On a serious note, are you worried about Delacroix's reliability issues?
@Audi - It was probably the team's strongest race this season, but misfortune struck again. Are you still happy to see Webber's top 5 contending pace today?
@Jimlaad43 - The team seemed all over the place this weekend. What was wrong there?

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
  1. The Season 10 is planned to be the final season of the Formula Manager game unless unexpected things occur.
  2. It seems the stated concerns over the engine performance gap was quite correct. Non-player engines did not see the required attention due to low amount of players necessary for such a development pace. For this reason, the non-player engines will get 3 random upgrades after each race, starting from the next season. Also, Cosworth-Renault-Mercedes will get 8 random upgrades at the end of this season (S8). BMW-Porsche will get 6. And Ferrari will get 5.
  3. After each race, the least developed player-manufactured engine will get a 1 free engine upgrade.
  4. To bring forward more driver options, all drivers without any skills will get 10 random driver trainings at the end of this season.
  5. Tyre brands will have closer performances at the next season's start.
  6. If you have any, please write ideas and suggestions after this season finishes in the thread for open discussion.

The MARKETPLACE is OPEN! It will remain open until the Sunday night. Then the Grand Prix Weekend wil begin. The Practice/Qualifying will end on Tuesday night. Good luck all!

TITLE DUEL BETWEEN RICCIARDO and BRISCOE
The two BRT drivers will give their everything at Brasil to get the title. Ricciardo has a solid advantage as he is 19 points ahead. But a win-fl-pole combo can bring 33 points. Here Briscoe needs some misfortune for Ricciardo and help from the other drivers. If Elysium and Ram can keep their paces as in Belgium, this could put Ricciardo in trouble.

Briscoe has to finish 5 at least to have a chance at the title. But with 5th, he also has to get the pole position. He also needs Ricciardo to finish down below. If they finish with equal points, Ricciardo gets the title with more wins. Ricciardo has to finish in top 6 to guarantee his victory. Briscoe has to take risks while Ricciardo can play it safe.

@Azabadaza - Do you blame Nico for the mistakes he did today? Or you are just happy that you finally got a race without gremlins?
Obviously Nico would have been in a better position if he weren't so intent on off-roading, but I was just happy that he and Rossi both reached the finish line. We could have had a better day on the pit wall, but the double finish was the highlight for sure

@Milos - So, it was the pitcrew training programme today? On a serious note, are you worried about Delacroix's reliability issues?
We do need a fast pitcrew for next season. But we also need a reliable engine.

@kedy89 - Will you let your guys fight freely in the final race?
Yes, they'll be allowed to fight. Will be a tough task for Ryan to gain that many points on Daniel, the more so since he still hasn't had the unexpected issue.

I think the one big mistake regarding engines was to allow players to sell their manufactured engines for a minimum of 100cr per race. If one (or several) of their engines are far better than the regular ones, then they also should cost more. Else noone else will ever buy the other ones (and upgrade them), unless they're forced to do so.

Might've been worth to try different market place items, e.g.
Engine test (man. engine) - 500cr
Engine test (reg. engine) - 350cr
Adv. Engine test (reg. engine) - 500cr
Being able to pick the upgraded spec is a massive advantage for manufacturers.

I think the current regulations will make it difficult to hold onto drivers and hold onto an amount of money for development. We'd like to hold onto our drivers, but it may not be possible. As for individual performances, it's unfortunate but we can't do much about it. Mika has some serious speed, his wet racing ability has.. possibly diminished from previous seasons. It may have to be something that we can look at helping him with should he return next season.

Now is also a good time, especially with the new engine regulations, Aston Martin engines are well and truly open for business, offering strong engines at low low prices. Shoot a message if you're interested.

Really happy with the result from both drivers. Michael did a fantastic job to run away from Briscoe and to get a win at our favoured track this season definitely makes this win more special.

The weather conditions were very challenging today. Our weather team reported that the sun would come out sooner, drying the track faster so we went out with intermediates. Unfortunately it was a wrong call this time and we suffered a lot in the middle of the race. Rest of the race we didn't want to risk anything as we really wanted to get a double top-10. After all we are happy with today and expect to do even better in the season finale. I guarantee we are going to catch Delacroix and take fourth in the championship standings.

Maybe engines could be tiered based off of performance which would increase minimum costs manufacturers can charge as well as increase cost for upgrades etc?

The RamF1 chassis, for some reason, has always been faster on wet tracks. I don't understand this, but it is something that the engineers are discussing. If we wish to maintain P3 in the Constructor's, we need to be able to hold off the others in dry conditions.

I'd also like to call out the mechanics and engineers for giving us our first double points finish of the season. I feel we could be fighting BRT for the top spot if we could finish both drivers in every race.
