RD Formula Manager - Season 8

Yes, something to consider for Season 9. But my point is that some of you have not been relying on the engineer. You figured on a certain lap to pit for X Fuel and X Tyres. But, since you had a crash, HP gets knocked to near zero and you end up losing the fuel and tyre orders because the of the engineer.

All I'm trying to say is this...
If your car needs repair, and you have orders for the same lap to pit, then the engineer will repair to 100%, but still follow the fuel and tyre orders as established by the manager.
We had this discussion in the first race too :roflmao:

Lap 1

BRI push low
LOE push medium

Lap 2

BRI push medium

no fighting between teammates

The engineer is your penalty for not looking at car wear. And not having good enough durability.
I think it's a lot better than retiring, but still forces you to look after car wear.

We can change the engineer at the end of this season with some voting. But I strongly support the fact that it should punish the managers who would retire otherwise.

Rossi actually went "Push-Low", but I over-updated his revs before cropping the image.

Next update will be for 2 LAPS, the day after will have 2 LAPS as well as the race will finish.

Exactly, I've seen crashes do less damage than that mistake.

Then they must have been going with a safer pace-rev combination. Or the driver had more technical skill levels. It is impossible to lose more car HP with a mistake than a collision with the same-rev combination.

We established earlier in the race that Ryan and Nico collided only for 12%. Upgrade durability Jim, it's seriously OP.

Lap 15
Nando push low

Lap 16
Nando aggressive low

Durability upgrade increases the max car HP. So %12 of a level-3 car wear is higher than level 0's %21.

And yes absolutely right you are, the Durability Upgrade is one of the most important things in the game!
