I calculate pretty much everything at this point, except tyre wear which is influenced by too many factors.

I only calculate fuel since that's the important one.

But imo, this system is quite an unfortunate one, it gives very little opportunity to casual players to be able to win, and giving casual players a chance would definetly raise interest overall and increase the number of managers, not only overall but also at the very top.

The budget cap really limits my mojo to "build up" drivers. Everyone can have the max as 7000 so everyone who has that amount of money has the chance of stealing the driver you spent so much money on.

I too would prefer no cap, since I don't want anyone to snatch my drivers. I've spent ~35000cr to get them to this level, and that's only PET and BEL. Also 7000 doesn't allow anyone to develop a good engine during offseason.

I guess most of you are bored with me winning pretty much everything, but I don't think anyone gets even close to the amount of risky researches I've done the last 2.5 seasons. Add to that some high paying sponsor choices and frequent driver development, and you've got most of the things that brought me in this position.

I think it's because the V sponsor gives far too much, sure it's not easy to achieve, but if you are ready to spend time doing math then it's very easy. Too easy. It shouldn't be in the same category as a pole position or podium.
You can snatch up any driver you want, as long as you build up money....
....which is only possible using the V sponsor. And here we go again.

I've stopped doing this after last season when I had to pay a lot for the best driver lineup and it didn't pay off results wise.

Mercedes did far more researches just they all went into fuel tank and durability and yours went into speed. Luck

and add to that the V sponsor and good income from last season (when there was no cap), and it's quite clear why you're in this position now.

I think the cap will help the rest of the teams with less money to at least stay equal from the start of the season, and you never know what can happen from there, we might see a bit of a different order. But I would raise it too to allow the teams to build a good engine.

And you are right, I am bored of seeing BRT 1-2 and silver soul 3-4

Budget cap will remain for the next season, but it might be increased for the season after in the off-season teams meeting I am planning to do. (I will try to have votings for a lots of elements regarding the game)

Get your point, hope you also get mine. Everyone had the chance to upgrade drivers, only few really did. Also bothered about not being able to sign 2 drivers at once, which makes it almost certain to lose one. Only good thing is that I could see this season that it's also possible to get halfway decent results with an unskilled driver like Clark.

Edit: Did I really just call Jim Clark unskilled? The one thing he certainly wasn't. Legend.

I have to agree on this, honestly I preferred the system we had when bids on your old drivers counted double for this reason. I do think it's better than what we have now.
