RD Formula FG Championship Season 3

General Impression:
Kyalami did not disappoint after last season's outing and with a big pile up and chaos down the start/finish straight it was only fitting to wave the red flag after 46 completed laps.

This handed Cornes a second win in a row with Reed and Martins alongside him on the podium, whilst on the other end of the field a bad day loomed for Falcon and DTK with both cars retiring before the race was ended prematurely. The biggest scare came from Yamaguchi, shooting off at great speed at turn 1.

Drivers view:
"Happy with 6th, happy with points and very happy to stay out of trouble after the outing in the gravel and kiss with the wall which left me broken and beached last year at Kyalami. Onwards and upwards... to Austin!"

United States Practice Results

Ok, so we've found a bug that is occurring during time acceleration. I am going to press onwards with the round as we don't use acceleration.
If the game does crash through the broadcast, the round will be halted, moved to Road America and re-done tomorrow. Any teams/drivers wishing to change buys would be free to do so. This is only a possibility and hopefully unlikely to happen.
edit: I'd also look into another Red Flag situation, as much as I want to seriously avoid having to do so.

2KF1 SEAL THE FRONT ROW DEAL
04 - United States - Qualifying.png

2KF1 racers James McNamara and Manolis Sigoulakis got the most out of their KR-10s today, placing both silver cars on the front row for the US Grand Prix. The Australian racer was able to beat his teammate by a mere 6 thousandths of a second, with Tobi Kederer and Takuma Ishikawa both within a tenth as well.
The second row is probably the one to watch with Kederer and Ishikawa, an early win against their grid partner could mean a win after 42 laps. Just behind however is the reliable Joel Rautavaara and Nathan Cornes, the championship leader looking to break records today.
Daniel Harvey and Ben Utzer were solid, while Donald Brugman and Vimal Ana were spectacular to secure top 10 starts for Jawz and Driftslide respectively.
Behind we find N-Tech struggling a bit, Bohner 11th but Cocks 17th, even with the long back straight, the reigning champs have quite a hill to climb (apart from T1). Falcon struggled while Ravenwest seem to be close to cracking the 10.
Commentators Comments: 2KF1 finally hit the jackpot out front, but we don't expect to see them fighting for more than 6th at the days end really. Without a doubt you should be watching rows 2, 3 and 4, we suspect these 6 are going to be on it. Bohner is an outside chance as well to be fair, but he might easily find himself a long way back. Also, we're delving in depth a bit more in the pre race analysis on the broadcast, we hope that you watch that as we think it's going to be an interesting one.
Podium Tips: N. Cornes, T. Kederer, T. Ishikawa.
