SIG SLIDES TO THE FRONT
The first Simulated Career visit to China started out mostly fine, but conditions deteriorated on Friday afternoon and by Saturday had completely given way to storms. Thus, for the second round running, we find a 2KF1 alongside Tapio Rinneaho for the start of the GP, this week being the turn of Manolis Sigoulakis, the Greek driver getting his lap in early and profiting as conditions worsened.
Tobi Kederer starts on the second row, alongside Andy Graham who also gained a lot from the rain. Costello looks to repeat his Melbourne performace from 5th with Yamaguchi in 6th for JHR. Laskey and Ana are in a good position for Driftslide in 7th and 11th, Bohner and Cocks in 8th and 12th are a good shot, while Rautavaara and Mishra close out the ten.
Commentators Comments: We should have expected it, but the heavy rain threw the field into chaos. Apex struggled, as did 2KF1 although having a second pole isn't all bad for the Australian team. DTK also managed to miss out, with Harvey in 19th. That being said, the efforts of Graham, Costello and then both JHRs and Driftslides is to be congratulated, and we'll be watching to see if they can reward themselves with points in the race.
Podium Tips: T. Rinneaho, S. Bohner, T. Kederer.
