Why are you signing a second driver whe you know you shouldn't be
I am extremely unhappy with everyone the past few days, while I applaud you securing drivers to attempt to win the championship, if we don't fill the teams there will not be a championship to win.
so instead of (rather selfishly) signing a second driver, bring them to the series, they can join where needed and you can sign them in season 2

I must disagree, for my 2nd driver I don't want him just so I win a championship. As all of you know, I don't want to drive in a GP4 game, and that is why I want a 2nd driver
And managing a team seemed like a good option for that

Elite Two Racing's Team Manager Josh Noack will confirm today that the primary sponsor for this season will be Vodafone. They are putting approximately 1.2 billion into Elite Two's 1994 Benneton F1 car. They hope too improve the car through RD and is looking for a drivers and teams championship with their newly signed driver, @Dovi design. He will be well looked after at ETR and will receive all of the lastest research and development parts according to TM, Josh Noack. He also sent a warning out to the other teams, "We may be new to this but keep an eye on us. Expect some surprising results."

confirmed here too, Dovi is not on a loan deal or anything, he's leaving the Monaco-squad himself..

Here is the plan: Any team that has two drivers on its roster will be penalised if one of the drivers are not released by Tuesday. If every team has one driver by then, there will be no penalty. Penalties will be monetary based, as well as a ban on signing one of the drivers properly until Round 5.
But it should not come to that if:

@Bdimas11 will be a driver for my team...
But oh, I've signed 2 drivers already...

What has happened to @Diehl ? If he is still looking at joining, I insist that he should talk to @William Néron about getting a seat, then we can avoid any of the above happening.

yeah, I don't want to be "faking" the mod of the series again, but I did it for the other guys painting the livery, so they are as equal as I am on resources

Got tagged in this post, have skimmed through the thread and read the rules etc. My initial reaction was that I couldn't join as I don't own GP4 (and don't have much time atm), but then I read that things will be simulated by @Aidan Keranen but how does that work?
What are managers and drivers meant to do (if anything at all)?
Is this just like a forum based rpg simulation of a fictional f1 season?
Sorry, I'm new to this kind of community championship and would like to understand what's going on before making a decision on whether I will join in or not.

You become a driver in the championship. You can upgrade qualities of your driver with money earned from doing well in races. The first post in this thread has a list of upgradeable things about your driver. In terms of teams, we need someone to join @William Néron in N-Tech motors.
