The new circuit in New Jersey proved a hard circuit to master during the practice sessions, yet the race was an entirely different story, and it was the Jordan of Old Wolf who snuck through to claim a fantastic victory. The race saw some surprisingly good passes for the nature of the circuit, and the final dozen laps came down to a 3 way tussle at the front between Wolf, Ben Utzer and James Chant. Utzer was the only Ferrari powered car, and it was evident during different parts of the track. Unfortunately, those parts were not where the passing was happening. Chant led initially, Wolf and Utzer following, until Wolf got a good run on Chant and made a move on him. The resultant manoeuvre saw both get taken by Utzer through the next complex. Utzer led well, but after Wolf made a strong pass on Chant, Utzer was alone and quickly passed by the Jordan. With no real challenge in the last 3 laps, the race ended as such. Sig Man was a hapless 4th, never really close enough to get into the action after 10 laps, leading home Alexander Macdonald, who was no doubt happy to halt his slide in form somewhat with 5th. Omer Said, Ben Herbert and Rami Saidy came next, and thanks to Thomas Hackel and Fred Owen having poor days, Owen, Hackel, Saidy and Herbert all share 32 points in the championship, equal 7th (through 10th).
The next race is nicer for the teams, less travel as we're just hopping over the border to Montreal and the Canadian Grand Prix. Our second Feature Race of the season is sure to be a big race for those involved.

At a Glance
- Sig continues to lead, but now only by 4 from Old Wolf
- Owen, Hackel, Saidy and Herbert are equal on points, someone will be ahead next race
- Said now 3rd placed Ferrari driver
- McLaren were the big losers, losing 14 points to Jordan, 13 to OR and 10 to Honda

Firstly, an apology for all parties involved for the time waiting.
Now then, @oldwolf A fantastic victory today, finally a win for Jordan, plus you are now second in the championship. Overall a good day then?
@Benutzername You've had the equal most points haul from the past 3 races, is this a strong sign that you've got a chance this season?
@James Chant Similar to Ben, you're now getting into a championship gear, do you think the car has what it takes to get the championships?
@Fred Owen, @Thomas Hackel, @Rami Saidy, @Ben Herbert Who's gonna be leading you four after next race?

It's too early to call a championship challenge. We'll see in a few more races if we can mount a serious challenge with both drivers

It was a great day for Jordan. The car was very fast and the team did a great job with the strategy and pitstops. I had some great battles with Ben and James but i was able to pass them. But we have so much work to do to win the championship. Congrats to Rami too. He has taken a podium this season and if he gets a win he will have the chance to compete for the championship.

With an extremely close fought season currently on the cards, it's now time for a mini "Feature season", and that starts here in Montreal.
GOGOGOGO!

The season is still barely starting, this is Round 6, yet already we've seen big moves, faltering challenges and 5 winners. Canada promises an exciting race, there is no reason why winner number 6 won't happen. If it doesn't happen, it could well be the season defining moment for that driver.
Good Luck racers!!
