Season 15 champion James Chant finaly got everything together and won the race at the narrow streets of Monaco, putting him 5th in the drivers championship. He led the entire race from start to finish. It looked just like the James Chant we saw last season, but abit more controlled.
-Back in business, said Chant over the radio to his team as he crossed the line.

Scott Malcolm finished 2nd in his McLaren, which move him up a few places in the standings aswell. He was under some pressure at the start of the race, but he kept his head cool and managed to get just the gap he needed.

Aidan Keranen got 3rd after a realy good performance. He now sits as the leader of the drivers championship, moving up from previusly being in 4th place. Since his Lotus teammate, rookie Bradley Vanian finished 5th, Lotus managed to extend their constructers championship lead to 20 points. Vanian stays in 3rd in the drivers championship, and he was the only one of the 15 drivers who didn't move a position in the standings after this race.
Keranen: -Job well done.
Vanian: -I managed to rescue what could have been a bad round.

The other rookie, Hiroshi Awazu finished 4th after a long battle with Vanian. But in the end it was the Williams that managed to pull ahead. Omer Said in the Sauber finished 6th and Peter Duivelaar had some problems with his Ferrari after the pit stop, and eventually finished 7th from his 3rd spot on the grid.

Further down the Honk Racing drivers of Sebastien Levret and Thomas Hackel finished 10th and 11th, and the former championship leader Alexander MacDonald finished his HRT car in 14th place. However he still sits 2nd in the championship.

What's HOT!
Lotus - 1st and 3rd in the drivers championship, 1st in the constructors championship.

What's NOT!
HRT - 14th and a DNF in Monaco means they only collected 1 point.

We quickly move on to the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia for round 4 of the championship. See you there.
