Please put me in with the Cayman. Thanks Han.
Welcome to the RD Racing Club.
In addition to our single GT3/GT4 events on Sunday, we will also race these cars in a championship on European circuits, along with some new challenges. There will be 5 events in this first championship. A race every two weeks on Sunday interspersed with the usual single events on the Sunday in between. This championship is also a test case for possible future championships.
There are some changes from our regular GT3/GT4 events to make it a bit more interesting:
Variable Track conditions
- Variable grip: At the start of qualifying and the race will not be optimal. It will gradually increase to 100% after about 20 minutes. The starting grip will be announced in the event thread and on S.GP.
- Realistic weather conditions: The sky will be clear but wind and air temperature will be at average level for the location at the date/time the race is being held.
- Track temperature is based on the air temperature in clear weather.
Penalties
A championship gives us the opportunity to deduct points from a competitor as a penalty. Here are the penalties for this championship. Please report these kind of incidents to the host. That will help to get even cleaner events.
- Golden Rule: if you brake the Golden Rule, all points will be deducted from that event. Normal procedure via formal report and discussion within RD staff if there's an argument.
- Unsafe overtake/dive bomb: 2 points taken off for each case. To be judged by host (Brian) and co-host (Han).
- Ignoring blue flag: 2 points taken off for each case. To be judged by host (Brian) and co-host (Han).
