Surprise win for Mishra
The Belgian GP didn't exactly deliver the result most people expected. While the podiums for Ferrari drivers Harvey and Jednak didn't come as suprise, the win for Sauber driver Oorjit Mishra surely did. A perfectly executed strategy and faultless drive in changing conditions brought Mishra to the front, then in the closing stages of the race holding off both the Ferrari and Williams duo, to take his 2nd career win. Ferrari still waiting for the first win this season, although extending their lead in the WCC. Lutz fought back after the previous race, taking 4th ahead of his teammate Rossello. However he could make up only 2 points, as Laad finished 6th behind the Williams duo. He was closely followed by Wolf, whose overtaking attempts in the final laps weren't successful. Utzer and Sigoulakis crossed the line in 8th and 9th, Lintner completed the top 10. Said couldn't match the pace of his teammate, only finishing 11th. Keranen was plagued by engine troubles once more, apart from the apparent lack of downforce due to the car's design. Taddo could end his DNF streak, however he still didn't score any points today.
