Ancevski wins season finale, Brawn WCC!
UAE PODIUM.PNG

Ancevski was the quickest today in his no-name team car and beat champ Kederer. Aussie Keranen finished in third and did finish on a high at the end of the season, but still not grabbing third in the WDC. Rinneaho backed up Keranen to make it a double top 5, laad completed the top 5 and helped Brawn claim their first ever WCC! Second placed Brugman couldn't manage better than 7th and Jednak follows home close behind. Sigoulakis made up 1 spot from the start due to the problems Andy Black suffered, yet he still got P10. Said and Laskey in P11 and P12 and Utzer finished where he finished most of the season, causing this to be iirc the worst season from OMR. Lintner was the last person to finish.

@Milos You grabbed P3 in the WDC in the end beating Laad and Keranen, is this win a sign of things to come for next season?
@kedy89 Guess you can call this a good day at the office or did you rather have the win, your winless streak is now at 4. Starting to feel nervous about that?:roflmao:
@Aidan Keranen Describe your season for us please? P3 in the WDC slipped through your nose but still a top 5.
@Jimlaad43 @Millsy24 Congratulations on taking the WCC, what will be going on inside the team tonight?
@Donaldinho105 Satisfied about your first season?
@Benutzername Guess you can describe your season disastrous, what was lacking this year?

A big thanks to you all for letting me moderate this season, it was great fun doing it, hoping to see you on the track next season!

hopefully!
Either way, feeling pretty pumped about both that win and the 3rd place.
Was very difficult as it was my first ever attempt at finishing a night race, but it ended up pretty well. Don't know if I'll try it again though :roflmao:

Expectations coming into the race were only to get 4th from Aidan but to beat Laad too is an added bonus :)

Stats!

5 Drivers scored a win this season, the most by Tobi Kederer, he's got 7. Brugman and Ancevski both have 3. 5 Drivers scored pole positions with Utzer and Brugman not being able to convert it into a race win. Meanwhile Harvey is the only driver who won a race without having scored a single pole. 11 Drivers scored podiums this season, most again by Kederer being followed again by Brugman and Ancevski.

There were actually no home-gp wins this season, as Laad also is the only one to actually score a podium at his home GP. He finished second at Brands Hatch.

Kederer is also the only one to have scored a top 10 result in every race of the season, Laad is second with 15 top 10 results out of 16 races. The closest teammates in the top 10 are Laad and Harvey only being seperated by 38 points. Mclaren and Brawn were the only teams to have both drivers finished inside the top 10 of the WDC.

Mercedes is the team with the highest % of one driver having scored an x amount of points for the team. Brugman scored 87,7% of the points for Mercedes. Second is Ferrari with 78,9%.

Tobi held it from the start and ended dominantly in 1st. Donald was close at the start but dropped down at the middle stint. As meanwhile Ancevski topped his form during the end-part of the season.

OMR led for a bit but dropped down massively during the mid-season. The battle was close between Ferrari and Brawn but from Race 12 Brawn started to pull away and eventually win the WCC. Mclaren came really close to Ferrari in the end too.

These are the sprint only results

As you can see the battle between Donald and Tobi is a lot closer here than the final standings. No real suprises in the team sprint races.

Here are the medium/feature races

You can see Brugman is in sixth here, so you can say he lost the title battle during the longer races. That's something he has to work on maybe, suprising to see is Rinneaho in 5th and Mclaren in 1st. The longer races seemed to fit the Mclaren well.

I want to thank you all guys for this amazing season and see you around next season!
