The test race at Qatar was dominated by Aidan Keranen. Starting from 5th he could quickly pass the guys ahead, and pull out a big gap which he kept until the end. Second came Ben Herbert, followed by Keranen teammate Tapio Rinneaho. Pole setter Harvey struggled with his tyres, and had to settle for 6th. Not as much as Said though, starting from 3rd he dropped all the way down to 18th. Rookies Graham and Ishikawa impressing with 4th and 5th place. Disappointing result for OMR with 9th for Engberink and 15th for Utzer. Manor was off even worse, Ancevski finished 17th only after a speeding penalty, while Rautavaara ended up last suffering engine problems.

RD FIA Press Conference

"You seem to have been suffering some heavy problems with your engine this race?"

"Oh yeah, heavy heavy problems. Car was undriveable, couldn't see where I was going with all the fire bursting out of the back. Absolutely horrendous. We can 100% blame this one on the team, nothing the driver could have done at this point."

Interview after the race: "Seems like that both our cars beat the Manors, as it's a rivalry" :D

My performance was poor at Losail. Sadly, after eating a local slab of mystery meat in the morning of the test, I picked up an illness. After sneezing during the first stint, I struggled to see, as my visor was covered in Qatar.

Cattarh is a snotty mess that usually comes out during an ill sneeze.
