Hi guys!

I'm sorry I didn't stay around for the whole race, but then I was never actually in the race.

Q: What's worse than a DNF?
A: A DNS (Did Not Start)

I entered the grid and there was only one other car, then there were none. The lights went on then off and then I was suddenly transported back at the garage disqualified???? Anyway, I watched for a while and it looks like fun. Chris & Mitch were really battling for a while. There's always next week.

Congrats to the Podium and thanks to Eric and RD.

The effort needed to qual 3rd drained me.....i got a rocket start and just squeezed the Spyker between the 2 Ferraris to claim T1 in the lead, but could not hold those things back for long, actually had a couple of very big moments trying to run with them, lucky to survive...i now really had to concentrate to build some gap to Peter chasing,Chris's Ferrari let go on him around pit time near halfway so the lead was handed to me with Mitch pit as well, nice challenge to keep concentration to end, enjoyed the run ahead of tomorrows RDGTC Sport round for me.
Well done to all finishers and bad luck grenading engine guys.
Many Thanks Eric and RD

Ok guys, we have found the cause of the joining during Qualy problem. Unfortunately, we made an error setting up the server that prevented anyone joining during Qualy. Honest mistake.

Sincere apologies to those who couldn't join, maybe we will run another WTCC 87 event very soon to make up for it. :)
at least we now know why ,actually its a relief ,i thought it was at my end ,heh not to worry next time eh Warren
regards
olly

on the replay it shows it blew after the small jump thing on the right hairpin turn (like turn 5 or 6). the revs shot up and the engine immediately died.

Actually, aren't Ferrari's known for blowing their engine's anyway due to reliability? Or was that McLaren LOL. Chris, did you overrev on downshift or did it just let go? I was hesitant when I upped the limiter to 9350rpms due to reliability so maybe that was what did it?

I only did 2 races with that car and in one I was running out of fuel, but I made the other one which was a 60 min race! When we raced at Riverside the practice sessions showed this problem, so I always raced this car with lowered revs.

Hey Olly I just noticed your in Penrith :D
I live just down the Great Western (Mt Druitt)

Anyway, I hope another 87 WTCC Event is held....
I would of loved to join (Connection probs from about 7pm)

Hope it was a good clean race,
I would only be able to join Aus Servers for RACE07/Evo because my computer isn't the best and the most frames the better :)

Well.. After looking at the replay of the race ( the small part i did..), i have to say a big SORRY.:disapointed:

I am rarely implicated in crashes normally, and even less the responsible of any crashes. But now, i must say that I am the responsible of the crash with Eric and another (yellow) Ferrari. Another thing i must say is that i didnt know that Eric was stuck in the sand because i saw another Blue Ferrari passing me, so i thought it was him. Really sorry about that Eric. I am the only responsible of this crash and I hope that these kind of things will not happen to me and other drivers again.

C ya all. Hope to see you again on the track, and I hope that I won't get banned for my bad driving there...:disapointed:
I have to kick my a**now! Bad Pascal!

Notes: This is a Race 07 - STCC the game event, STCC expansion is required. Mini's on this track should be a blast. :rotfl:

Important: Please pay special attention to Racedepartment's Golden Rule: If you hit another driver and disadvantage him, we expect you stop and let the other driver regain his position on you. If this costs you many places (eg first few laps) then consider this a penalty for your driving infringement. Doing this shows respect to your fellow drivers and will encourage drivers to be more careful. Please use some care when letting the other driver regain position, do not immediately stop your car on the driving line where it can cause further accidents. Not following this rule will result in your membership of the racing club being terminated at once!
