quick reminder

i've had a coupla queries about the old old issue of legal track surface.... so just to save any confusion or claim of ignorance or whatever... it's, as per club rules, two wheels inside the white lines at all times - this you know... and this you love...

dropping out occassionally, especially given tonights conditions, is fine - but don't be tempted to make the concrete run off areas part of your every racing lap... there's now no excuse and i'll not be happy dealing with 2000 cutting complaints post race....

put the extracted file "Gamedata" in the race07 folder ,let it overwrite and it'll work.

if it not works with the .ini system of race it must be installed on the server too same horse as with the ferrari porsche mod

as far as i know - skins for mods like this are a no-no.... since they also need to be installed on the server and will cause mismatches if people don't have them... at least that was the case with the ferrari/porsche mod....

I also can only try one car, decided for the BMW, found the nicest (and fastes?) default skin !

What are your lap times so far? Saw on the hotlap database times around 2:00... these guys would most probably lap me (if I remember correctly after a few lap I was at 2:07, but am a GT class beginner)

As I want to do a bit of practice offline in the wet, how do I set the rain to 70% without running a dedicated server?

Lewis I just use the Heavy rain option, I was online last night and there's no difference really.

besides that i crash every 5 mins of the server i managed till now a 1.16 so i think way of pace
can we skip rain events in the future till simbin have fixed them completely plz

What's wrong with practicing in the server Lewis?

No distractions offline, as I usually screw up if I see a chat message.
But it doesn't really matter as I was just wondering if there was a way to do it.

Can only manage a 1:18 something.... Averaging 1:19.5's so going to be at the back of the grid and if I finish I'll be last......

I just did 5 practice laps in heavy rain and tonight is going to be hard work, lol.

I may break the record for being lapped most times in a race, what is it by the way to give me something to aim for hehe.
