good racing with the mini. R1 setup was good in offline practice but would not stay on the track during the first race. Eventually got suspension problems and could not finish
R1 DNF. For R2, chose my backup setup. Stayed on the course this time but again much slower than the field. Sorry to Jacob for running into you when you spin out in the corner.
But, unlike me, you seemed to get faster and could not catch you. R2 11th
Congrats to the winners...

Thanks Rupe noticed that,
R1 I kept on making mistakes all by my self, I set the car up for the race distance but kept making stupid errors. Every time the car started coming to me I out braked myself, poor driving. R2 threw it away from second, slotted back into 15th and had to fight hard to get back up to 7th.. The pace at the back of the field was fast and it was not easy to pass
However I felt all the guys drove clean and there was always sufficient space,
Thanks to all for a good evening.

We encourage all of our drivers to use Teamspeak 3 (download). Talking directly to your fellow drivers increases the fun and the ability to share information quickly and easily. It will improve your driving skills dramatically as well as your relationship with your fellow drivers.

When you have signed up for an event we expect you to be there. If for any reason you can not make it you can sign out up until one hour prior to the practice session. If you do not then you will be reported as a no-show.

If the event uses a two race format then you are expected to be present for both races. If you leave during or after the first race without prior notice then you will be reported as a no-show.

You can not sign up as a 'maybe'. We will not reserve grid places for people that might be there, we give them to people that will be there.

When qualification starts and not all places are taken, reserves can then enter the server.

With some friends of mine we decided sorta last-minute to join the fun here.. New to both the car and the track it was obvious we'd struggle pace-wise. So I was very grateful to @Rupe Wilson for kindly sharing his setup to get me up to speed a little sooner. Thx mate  !

Still, 15th was the best I could do in Q1. That didn't stop me from having fun chasing some friends though, until one of them spun off, got lost:O_o: , and came back on track right in front of me with nothing I could do but brake while witnessing my little Mini getting shortened a few more inches.. but hey, what are friends for, right?! :roflmao:
Had a lonely race from then on but slowly getting a hang of things I could improve my times despite the damaged car :).

R2 was slightly better, even ran top-5 for a few laps, but some really quick guys making quality passes and a slight off saw me drop a few places. I do recall seeing a lot of racing action! There were some really great clean battles with Wayne and with Senad later on and some fun with another racer who unfortunately did not share my view on things as I found out afterwards :(

Apart from some unpleasant comments afterwards this was a really great fun event for me, possibly the biggest fun I've had in a Race07 event.. and with one or two exeptions I witnessed myself, driving standards were not bad at all, IMO. And that exeption would definitely NOT be you, Peter, as you were more than clean when I encountered you on track.

Grats to all podium finishers, and thx all for racing.
