I'm worried about times because I play this game from two weeks and I have no freaking idea what it slow or fast.
The point I am making is that it doesn't matter. Knowing other people's lap times isn't suddenly going to make you any faster. You'll find out what people's lap times are during the event itself, and at least then you can watch them during practice and qualy and see how they are doing it. That's how you learn and improve.

I totally agree with Ross here, I'm by far not the fastest on the events, but I have been at it for a couple of months now and if you keep a goal of just finishing you're lap times will slowly go down. By the end of Mini races I have shaved 10 seconds or so off my best times just because you get familiar with the car and the tracks.

Instead of writing novells you could easy tell me one single lap time. I know that knowing other people's lap times won't make me faster but at least it will tell me where I lose and where do I have to improve. Watching people during practice sessions is not the best way to learn their driving. If I know that I'm 3 seconds slower than the mid pack I'll have to work hard but not to reach one lap speed. I need to work hard to find consistent lap times no matter if they are 3 seconds slower but I need to know because doing laps without knowing what are you competeting with is kind of boring.

Sorry about last night, just to clear up. I plugged my g27 into the PC for the first time on Windows 8 last night, only to find that in game the car would rev and change gear, but not move. Long story short after playing around with drivers i got it working about 9ish, so sorry for any inconvenience.

Ross Please don't think my remarks were referring to players in RD or other players in the club. That was not my intention. I do not like to upset people so I left. ashamed.

What happened was: I accellerated to about 47mph from the corner. I got blue flagged so I didn't increase my speed any further. I was punted from behind and the car felt unstable. I tried to keep straight and run out strip so I took my foot off the gas. I went down to about 30mph now totally on the grass , so I thought, revs dropping to 3000-ish. On the film I can't see but it may be possible my left front was just on the track. Still slowing off the gas went over side road then lost my back end. Applied full lock right whilst going across the track but collected a Seat. I apologised to the Seat driver. I got a message back saying "not again peter :(" from Mark. I assumed I must have hit him in another race and that he was the Seat and I had managed to upset him again. Though I couldn't remember such a time.

I felt bad about that and thought we must have gone to Qually while I was in the car set-up page and I had ruined his fast lap. Don't forget I'm fairly new to online-racing especially Race 07 so I'm not very familier with the format changes at each stage of the race.

I race for fun and don't want to upset people who take it seriousely. I thought I had better Leave the STCC2 club. Not RD.

Server logs should show I said "Sorry again, Peter", as we had made contact earlier in the session when you got a little sideways in front of me. I was not even remotely upset as it was just a Practice session, I wasn't on a hotlap, and the contact was so light I didn't even feel it through the wheel.

I don't take this even remotely seriously. I start at the back of the grid because there's less pressure and more fun there. I don't even do 'hotlapping'. I spend the whole practice session going around on race fuel with a race setup since that's what I'm on RD to do, race. I'd ask you to reconsider leaving the club as considerate, careful drivers are welcome as far as I'm concerned.

If you'd stayed for the race you'd have seen some driving worth getting annoyed about from others, but I consider this a non-event.

Ok, it seems you don't want to listen so I'll make it simple. No discussing lap times in the event thread. Any posted times or requests for times will be removed. Sorry if that makes things so incredibly difficult for you but it can and does put slower drivers off from signing up, so that's that.

Q ... Did my best lap ever at Imola 2:01.430 .. hooray for me ...!!
Race1 ... erm .. somehow I missed the start ??!! What happen to the warm up session .. really confused how I missed it oh well tough on me I guess...
Race 2 ... went from 18th to 10th then got a stop/go penalty. Then just for fun I received another one but finished 8/9th more entirely sure .. anyway see you at the next one ...
