Grats Victor, well driven. Good fun everyone, see you next time!
Thank you Nik, thank you guys for the great race! I did not expect to be ranked at the start and completely forgot about the weather. The whole race was waiting for the beginning of the shower, but he never went. And it was very hard - wait for the rain to look at Nik and try to keep the tire ... Now I can breathe a sigh of relief! I am more and more starts like this little car :)

That was one tough race! The quali was weird because I started driving on wet tires and then realized I was too slow. So I changed for slicks and ended up on 6th place. The start of the race was a disaster for me as usually is, because I try not to overtake much and not damage mine and other's cars, but other people stick their fronts in every corner. Had some very unfortunate tap when three guys were battling in front of me and I wanted to see braking point so took the inside line. Then when I started braking and was in corner entry, one car turned into me. Was partly my fault, for sure, I didn't want to overtake but was in the way. The visibility just sucks and you don't know lots of time if you can turn. Well, it's sim world and not everyone has tripple screen. I don't even have 16:9.

Then there was one guy still in the first couple of laps who was slower and struggling, but everytime I wanted to make a move he changed his path. He was unpredictable. I can't judge how I drive myself, but he wanted to keep me behind him at all cost. When I managed to overtake him, I was clearly faster and saw how other guys had problems overtaking him and saw couple of taps and don't know how it ended up.

Car didn't work as good as in my offline practice and had lower temps and was slower about 1s. It was a big fun chasing guys on 3th-5th position when I was faster then them, but my car lost grip completely and I lost a few seconds with my mistakes. My performance completely dropped after my pitstop. Was struggling for grip and had problems with braking. Was fighting with Aaron Channer, lost grip on the front and had to brake to not spinning my car. Aaron probably didn't realized that and gave me a tap. Got a suspension problem and I guess he had too. Our gap was like a yo-yo after that. I totaly lost confidence and had problems with braking. Wanted to repair that suspension if I had the opportunity when changing for wet tires.

I was waiting to the end of the race for the rain that never came. What a pity! The whole changeable weather idea was useless because of that. Shame. And too bad that lots of guys didn't finish. The race 07 engine is rubbish. We'll have to wait for other sims. ;)

Phew! Too much words but at least I can practice my english. :)

I had a great battle with you Marian, thank you. I respect other drivers around me and am becoming familiar with those who do also, like yourself, so knew we could race hard.
Yeah I had front suspension damage after the tap, not your fault, I knew that.
Thanks again, to you and all. This was one of the most exciting mini events yet.

More changeable weather in future please. :D

There's nothing wrong with the engine. If a lot of people were experiencing connection issues then that is a server issue and nothing to do with Race 07. As for rain, the conditions were 'changeable'. That does not mean rain is guaranteed, it means it may or may NOT occur. The whole point is that you don't know if or when, just like real life.

@Ross Garland When I mean engine I also mean its performance. Lots of people claim that race07 just sucks and runs poorer than gtr2 or gt legents even on good computers. rFactor 1 too. There is a nice video on youtube with rFactor 1 and 2 comparison and you see how good the sense of speed on rF2 is while rF1 looks like a slideshow. I still have problems with gameplay. Was smooth the last time when I dissabled shadows and though that it's alright now. No, it isn't. Waiting for new sims. Gimme, gimme! :)

Then there is something wrong with their computer or hardware config. Race 07 is not an intensive game and runs well with full settings on every single computer I've installed it on over the years. Even my current rig is four years old yet still runs the game perfectly well. If your system does not run this sim well then you have no chance of running new sims like rF2 and GTR3 with full settings when they are finished.
