Oh yeah, race day tomorrow, Cool 4 hours coming...btw, do we have a common lunch break in the middle of the race LOL

Ps. not practiced much but just trying to rest enough, I have a very good setup and the track is familiar so I dont expect any problems with the car but the driver needs a lots of energy and patient for this race...ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG stint.

...Good luck to all see you tomorrow.

If the race is the full 60 mins this time, are we going to need to pit for fuel? The game says a full tank will give me 33 laps which, based on my current lap times, would leave me a number of laps short. However, XD reports that a full tank could potentially get me to the end of the race on fumes... assuming I maintain the same pace throughout. Which is correct?

Final "special" Rules and procedures for tonights race here.

1. Rolling start. The pole sitter will bring the field around for ONE LAP to the start / finish line at 65MPH or 105 KPH. he will do this when the start lights go out and not before or we will have penalties for "false starting". YOU WILL follow the car in front of you and stay in EXACT order!do your best to maintain the spacing to the car in front of you as you had when you "dropped" into the field from the garage.Once the pole sitter has reached the Checkered S/F line he will then accelerate at full speed and the race will be underway. YOU MAY NOT pass or jump out of line until you reach the start / finish line. This will ensure that nobody in the rear of the field will "jump" and gain an unfair advantage. I want everyone to get away cleanly and without incident to start the race. you may only pass before the S/F line if there is an accident in front of you but this does not mean you are released to accelerate away and pass additional cars until the release point.

PATIENCE GENTLEMEN!!!!!!! I will review the race starts after the event. If I catch you breaking the start rules, you will be reported by me to the racing staff for an infraction review.

2. Entering pit lane: When you are preparing to pit, you should have in your chat presets a warning that says PITTING NOW! no other chat should be used or worded in any other fashion. You may also turn on your cars lights and leave them on when you plan to pit! Turn them on at any point after the start finish line on the lap you plan to pit.(don't run around for 2 laps with them on!) shut them off before you enter the race surface again. You may not drop to the apron until you have reached the last "marshall's tower" before the actual pitlane. If you do, and don't wreck your car, you will be considered cutting. This will ensure that the cars behind you will not be compromised in anyway regarding your line if they are not pitting when you do so. Get down low on the track as soon as safely possible when your pitting and start to slow your car for the apron transition. Other wise, you risk spinning your car as the apron is quite slippery.

3.Track re-entry. After pitting, you may not join the actual track surface until the 5th "marshall's tower" on your left. You will be able to see the entire straight leading to Turn 2.

4. Re-entry to the racing line. YOU MAY NOT go above the lowest marked racing lane after the "track re-entry point" until you reach the next "marshall's tower" about half way down the straight. The line you may not cross until this point is the checkered / broken line to your immediate right. This will prevent drivers from swerving dangerously into the racing line while still not nearly up to racing speeds.

Although this may seem unusually complicated or comprehensive, it is designed to ensure car safety and comfort for all of us racing in this style we are simply not accustomed to on a regular basis. These same rules in similar fashion can be expected for ATCC season 3 as well.
