This race was so crazy, at least for me as I hate this street tracks. In first race I got DNF after brushing a wall and in second I started very bad and after a few corners I hit Robert(sorry for that, I couldn't wait for you there but I found a place where I could give you the spot back, really sorry). After all it was a total stress for me, so sorry for everyone I tapped and thanks RD and Ryan for this event, but next time please no streets.

I see (looking at the numbers)…
As usual Le Mans is one of the most attractive events/tracks (number of views the post has) if not "the most" of this club endurance series, but as the one last year, it is done at a time when RD championships are already in motion, so many can't join...

Last year, after a few problems at start, if memory doesn’t fail me much, I think the 65 laps event went ahead with “just” 14 or 15 racers of the about 20 subscribers, even so it was a fun/hard above 4hrs race.

At the time of this post, we have 21 subscribers so we are looking a bit better… it will be a nice event, I'm sure. :)

------------

Regarding my earlier answered question...

  • Are we really doing a full Le Mans lap at 100 km/h before start? No "after Tertre Rouge" start like last year?

As I typed earlier not only a full lap at 100 km/h might be a bit "dull" but also those downhill Esses look very unforgiving with a close field…

  • Another point is the weather… it would be nice to “set” the weather with a bigger antecedence than it was done to the other events, specially the temperature (rain or no rain isn’t that important).
Like on the Nord, Le Mans is a big lap, an incorrect setup (mainly those radiator and brake settings) might completely transform a race to the “short” side…

------------

A final friendly warning;as usual, most of you know/noticed this, but perhaps some don’t/didn't, so…
This track might look “inoffensive”, “easy to learn” & so on….

You can be sure it is the most unforgiving of the all club endurance series, much more than the Nord for instances. On this "77 version", those “wooden sticks” (but not only) are real “killers”.

Cheers,
