Hi Guys, I am really not having much luck on this server. Last week everybody else disappeared from my screen 2nd race. This week on 2nd race (and in 3rd position) everything just froze on me..... Had to reboot computer to get going again.
Thing is, I spend hours and hours (too many really!) on open servers with no problems at all.
Am I the only one with these problems?
Since joining these club events, Thursday night has been the highlight of my racing week. I so enjoy fair racing against you guys. I can't tell you how disappointed I am to get so many problems on club night.
Anyway, I only hope my sudden freeze up didn't ruin the race for anyone else, I rebooted as soon as I could but I don't know what effect it may have had on the server and your race.
Please, if anyone else has had similar problems any advice or comments would be most grateful.

First of all, I have to apologize to Ronny Rooij for the hit in the first lap, really sorry man, missed the brake point a little, really sorry again
So obviously, the first race was not very good...

Race 2
Second race was much better, couple of great battles, so very nice racing. This track is "a little" tricky, so I did some mistakes, but overall, it was fun

Those freezes are Random What do u use nvidea or ati?

Hi Bjorn, I use ASUS nvidea EN8800GT 1GB with no overclocking. Such a shame it happened during a club race.
I have only ever had this problem 2 years ago when I used a wireless PS2 joypad and adaptor. Since I had my lovely G25 I have had no such problems till last night. Lost all computer control, even holding esc didn't work (nor Alt+Ctrl+Del). Had to force total restart of computer.
Apart from my disappointment, I was worried that my car was left on track for several seconds while I panicked to resolve the problem.
I have all the latest drivers for my whole system.
So sorry to worry you with these problems but I really enjoy racing you guys and want to continue. You are a great group of drivers and so friendly.
Anyway, thanks to you Bjorn and RD for organising these events. I will try again next time (maybe on the Minis tonight at Laguna if there are spaces), but only if my problems are not causing anyone else problems during the race.
