Great fun, my first race at RD and my first ever longer than 10 laps lol. Thank god i stumbled across RD with all the good clean fights here.
Was pretty much in the middle all the time, finished 15th at the end. Could have been much better and worse too, so that's ok ;)

No, this was not much fun. Seems this format is nothing for the BMW cause with about 35% of tyre after 25 min is it not very driveable. After a miserable stop and 35 min to go was clear the end would be horrable. On 6th i wanted overtake Reggie in 5th, that he drive in the corner as i´m not there was a bit weird and i lost again P5 cause of this push. Anyway then i go off first corner and second corner Fernando push me of track. Fom this i was really frustrated. The car goes undrivable and i fall back on thirteen.
I mean i start from 2nd and from beginning there was no chance to stay there. So summary no wonder that there were maybe only three BMW in the field. Congrats to podium and who had a better race.

We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system - read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organizer a private message detailing the incident including a youtube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.

Damn good race even with the 1st lap save I had to make. Qual in 8th which surprised me as I didn't have any top end speed. Got away really slow off the line and lost about 2-3 places but managed to keep it clean until 2 cars came together and 1 of them spun right in front of me and it didn't give me much choice to try and avoid, I got clipped while trying to swerve out of the way which sent me into a slide and somehow I managed to keep the car going sideways along the grass :) This put me down a few places but I didn't lose too much time stunt driving. After that I calmed down and just kept my pace going but getting clipped had knocked the suspension at the rear of the car which was giving me a lot of rear end slide through corners. Then just before my pitstop I ran the left rear wheel onto a piece of grass (ice) as it made me spin which lost me the time I would've gained at the stops. Came out in 11th place but didn't have the grip to keep going, lost a lot of pace from the 1st lap incident. Had another scare when Michael was trying to put my bent suspension back into shape, great fun sliding again :) From then the grip went very fast and a BMW just caught me too quickly and passed me too easily, wish I had a wider car! Did have a fight with another BMW but couldn't get the accel out of corners ended up 14th at the line.

Congrats Podium.

Well, from the evidence I have seen - the Vectra is certainly faster, if definitely more oversteery than the rest of the FWD cars. I'm thinking it could be the track width of the axle Gunthar?

The track width is wider than the Chev but the same as the Seat. I'm sure that if I forced an adjustment to the track width, it would be exactly the same as the Chev but with 5% less powerful, so why would it be driven other than for looks...?

What would be a better test is to make a race here at RD. Call it "The Clash of the Oversteerers" and make it Chev vs Vectra and have the field split 50/50 with the drivers. They get given a car to drive just before the race and can make setups for either before as they will be the same on each car as all adjustables have the same effect. Then go from there...
