Great track. I was in the DBR9 as always. I made my own setup from the ground up for the 1st time. I qualified 6th.

Race 1: I had a pretty bad start, but i was lucky to stay in 6th. On turn 1 Eric.N and somebody went off at T1 I was promoted to 4th place. I was slowly catching Tyler in 3rd. I smelled a podium so I started pushing real hard. I messed up at 2 and Russel and Eric went past me. I spent the rest of the race trying to keep up with those 2 hoping they would slow each other down, but they kept at it. I was very happy with my pace as I had too much fuel, about 25L at the end of the race, but I could keep up with Eric. I finished 6th

Race 2: I had a good start right behind Jarrod in 3rd place. I got some lag and it spun my car round and I think I hit Russel. I car had suspension damage so I had to dive into the pits for repairs. I spent the next 16 laps chasing Phil, Eric E and Dennis. With 3 laps to go a passed Phill and Dennis.

I hope next GT track is something similar. I still need to get myself a wheel, I might have a chance of some podiums by then.

Well Iha da greta race report almost done and IE just puked on me.

So here is the short version

Race 1 I had a great battle with Russell for P4 with us running the clock up and down the gap and I passed him with 4 to go and he repassed me with 2 to go. GReat Battle Russell!

R2 I nearly collide with Jon after he has contact with Russell and Dragos on the start. (se enclosed pic) I am leading afetr a solid pass inside of Mike Campbell at T1 on lap 2 despite Keiths warning "don't do it Eric" Call and my reply of "i gotta man you chasing me" and it works out well. Kaith and I battle on the clock him trimming me then me extending a bit. Then i have greaphics lockup of 11 seconds in the stadium Kurve! I just jam the wheel left and Hit the brakes and wait for NIVIDIA to fix the damned graph driver! What a POS NIVIDIA makes. It costs me another soon to be touhg battle with Keith and I drop to P6.

I race hard and finish on the podium despite the tech issue.

A huge apology about the server reset guys! I felt it had to be done once the MOD CARS form FIA Gt 2008 started glitching the server and players. Had I known it would be that bad with all the drivers in the field I would have corrected this before the event.

Thanks for racing guys and hope you enjoyed another "old school" fast track!
