Qual : Can't get my head round qualifying, I always seem to go faster in practice with race setup and fuel then I do in qualifying. 12th was best I could manage after only setting 1 time in the 1m36's

Race 1 : Starting from 12th I knew it would be hard on the 1st lap but for a change I didn't get hit or spun or make a mistake. After a few laps I found myself in about 8th or 9th with Dan in tow. After looking at the gaps between each driver I realised I could pit early and not get caught in traffic so I came in on lap 7 and just took rear tyres only. I managed to find myself in 5th after the stops and was happy to try and finish there. With 2 laps to go the front tyres were really poor and Dan was catching me about 1 - 1.5 secs a lap and once he did I had to do some heavy defending, but when it got to last corner I thought if I take correct line I've got 5th. Luck was on my side for a change, crossed the line in 4th after Wesley shortfilled his car, unlucky that was.

Race 2 : Started in 5th place and made a good start which I haven't done for about 30+ races, jumped into 3rd place by turn 1 and again I survived lap 1 and was enjoying being near the front. But I then got turned round as going into slow corners I have bad braking and steering, was running lots of rear brakes. I was facing the wrong way and had to wait for the field to pass me so I could get going again. Oh well it was fun while it lasted :) Made my pit stop early again, this time for front tyres and again once the stops had been done by everyone I went from about 17th to 10th. I then caught Simon who was doing a great job steering without the front splitter and you was still quicker round some corners then I was. Managed to get past on the 2nd try of attempting an overtake. Crossed the line in 9th.

Congrats Podium in both races :)
