Well very poor from me last night.

I didn't get to try the track b4 as we had friends over. Joined with 15mins of practice left. Luckily the track wasn't hard to learn it was more of a case of just finding where to push and where not. Qual in 14th about 1.5sec off pole. Not too bad. Got upto 9th in race one, then the guy infront ran wide and I was 8th, but just like last week whilst sitting pretty for Pole in race 2 I cocked up at T1 and hit the tires hard enough to wreck my car.

Started race 2 in 21st and very pissed with myself. Had a good start and moved upto 11th at the end of lap 1. Battled for a while around 9th until I ran too deep at T1 again. Stayed out of trouble, but lost 2 places whilst doing so. Then managed to knacker car again and out.

Thanks all and to RD etc.

I both adore and despise this track. I adore it because 'God it's fun'. I despise it because, when matched, my best sector times are equal to or faster than the pole sitter at the last event, yet I can never string such isolated performances together for anything close to a comparable lap time.

And worse, because I also adore this track, I cannot stop trying. Even at 1:30 a.m. when I really should be in bed.

Larry this gave me a big chuckle this morning! This is EXACTLY what I was referring to in the race announcement post. Wait til you race here! We had such a good event I Was tempted to do French week in the first slot just for this track!
