This was a good change of pace - I wouldn't mind running different cars on ovals say...once a month?

Had not had a chance to practice in these cars much so I went into the event without a setup. I heard everyone raving about Brandon's setup on teamspeak so I figured I'd give it a try (thanks Brandon for making it public!). Got used to it after about 10 minutes and was satisfied that I was putting down laptimes fast enough not to get lapped by the end of the race :)

Races started off promising as I was able to move up through the pack and not get collected by any of the first lap carnage. I had various problems with my pitstops in both races though, which left me in 9th the first race and an eventual DNF in the second race. Something glitchy with my pit location (i would be on the spot and it wouldn't start the pitstop even when confirmed), so I lost 1-2 laps each race due to this.

Well done by all who stayed and finished the races, some entertaining racing for the podium spots!

For those who want to have a nice custom skin, here you have some places to look. A little too late, I know, but anyway. Just be sure you don't choose a skin from a private team, like RPM, BVM, etc, if you're not part of the team. :)

I'd love to not see doubled skins!!!! :D

Cheers.
