Oof, that was hard work! First time I've raced with my h-box for at least two years, and I think the lack of practice showed. In practice and qualy I was fine, and the box definitely has some advantages over paddles. The extra boost in acceleration was a good example, given that I was slow off the line but still out-dragged those around me to T1.

Unfortunately, the extra concentration required finally got the better of me. A couple of miss-shifts in the first 15 mins turned into miss-shifting regularly by the last 10 mins. I honestly thought my gearbox was damaged but it couldn't have been given damage was disabled!

But it was still brilliant fun so the box will be back when we run these again. Brilliant combo this one, really enjoyable. Congrats to Steve and the other podiums, and good racing all!
