Hm, it is strange that tyres data on "BMW M1 Procar E26 | Delta7Fox" not working properly. The same problem with the ACCR BMW - data load particulary (other cars not tested yet).
What could be the problem?

try the bmw and attach your py_log.txt or paste content here and I take a look, common is syntax error in tyres.ini or missing files, the python INI reader are more sensitive than AC itself, I for obvious reason, don't test every car :)

Yes, sure, here log files for two cars. :)

Empty files, looking at the other ACCR cars there are some with content and a few mixed (some files empty)

You could re-compile a new data.acd for the M1 if edited, but normally this needs to be addressed by the author.
I assume AC fallback to some default tables when there is an error, but it should be errors in log.txt as well.

Jean Ross, hi again!
Found another car - "BMW 635 CSi Group A", on Legion's blog.
Trying to do tyres data myself by unpacking car data and place .lut files in app directory.
Got an error at py_logs.txt:
Code:
proTyres: PitBox has been set (FuzzyJump)
proTyres: ERROR content/cars/bmw_635_csi_group_a/data/tyres.ini
proTyres: ERROR ini file does not exist in any of the expected folders (bmw_635_csi_group_a)
I looked through tyres.ini, but did not notice any errors at first glance. How to debug such errors correctly? Maybe I missed something?

You must create the folder with the same name as the car folder in cars_mod (bmw_635_csi_group_a) and put all the files there.
Or put the files in an folder called data in the actual car folder (that do not normally exist when there is an data.acd file)

With your error message above "content/cars/bmw_635_csi_group_a/data/tyres.ini",
that indicates protyres do not find any matching folder in it's own directory, then tries the data folder as last try

In next release protyres will read the data.acd directly, but not sure when I have time to finalize that.

updated protyres to last version and works great.
Thank you very much, your mod is great.
now I had the same problem with Apex Indycar
here the py-log.txt

This car is using an data.acd file, either the file are missing or they changed the name. Even if you could "fix it" with an ini & lut pack there is little point as the data.acd is wrong so app data will not match. Apex need to fix the data.acd content and/or reference in tyres.ini

Edit, there should be loading errors for the car itself in log.txt as well, when this happens AC seems to fallback to an default table of some kind, that is currently unknown.

I have that car but not tested it yet, but it should work directly. Make sure you use version proTyres 2.0.

I'll try the car tomorrow, but you can also look in py_log.txt for any proTyres related errors.

Thank you mate. I think I've overlooked that latest app version. Will also try it tomorrow. Thanks for your great app!!!
