wow it looks sick but assetto corsa don't really like 3D trees, these trees literally eat your fps. but other than that the map looks even better
I won't use standard 3D trees, as always - I will make them from scratch, so they shouldn't eat many FPS. I will make some tests for sure, but CSP's TreeFX doing really great job on optimizing trees. Besides, not every tree is going to be 3D, as it is not necessary. But overall track will be more GPU heavy, to pull it up to current standards. To achieve good FPS I will also use CSP occluders feature to reduce the number of draw calls.
Also, I will export this track to AC Evo, as soon as moding tools will be available :)

Some more WIP screens. I've finished with rough base terrain creation. Terrain size is 30x30km, it will be a great foundation for some new routes, and it also makes a really great background.

Also created first new 3D tree (not counting sakuras), only 3,7k polys at highest LOD, which is twice lower on polys than most commonly used trees I could find.

WIP screens again! :) I think I'm done with another tree, which will cover most of the forests - Sugi Cedar. Sadly, CSP TreeFX have some rough shading compared to tree generation software, and other objects in game. I hope it will be improved in future, but for now I have a base for future.

I've also made a simple 3DSMAX script which allow me to plant trees inside 3ds max and export their coordinates to .txt file. This also will allow me to make collisions with 3D trees.

Also I did some work on new layout creation, and some test for fast and easy terrain conforming to the road. My plan is to make roads around generated realistic terrain mesh, which will result in interesting and more realistic layout to drive.
