PC3 Project CARS 3 | The Full List Of Cars Revealed

Project CARS 3 developers Slightly Mad Studios have revealed the 211 cars that will feature as part of the default offering within the game when it releases later this month.
  • All 221 cars revealed.
  • Race, road and open wheel cars included.
  • PCARS 3 releases August 28th.

Yes, the new Project CARS game might not have tyre wear or pitstops, but it is certainly packed with plenty of content when it hits the stores later this month - with no less than 211 cars set to be included in the base release, many of which players will be able to customise with various tuning and visual upgrades.

Additionally, Slightly Mad Studios have announced that pre-order purchases will come complete with an 'Ignition Pack' that will offer players additional characters, liveries and decals to start your career journey.

Having played it for a few hours yesterday I can say that the game isn't bad. Its not a Project Cars game though, not sure why they didn't title it Shift 3. It has FAR more in common with Shift than Project Cars. As long as you know what you're buying and what to expect, you won't be dissapointed. It leans more towards non-sim racing but its still better than the NFS series of games.

Solid 6/10 from IGN.

Hard to comprehend what were the lengthy "physics" interviews in RD about. When they have clearly gone full arcade and even IGN thinks the handling lacks depth

Going full arcade, in favor of what? Worse graphics than the competition, with same AI inconsistency from PCars 2, with weaker career than pCars 2. Topped off with a mobile game UI

SMS get that crown for nerfing their own franchise.

I'm sure they have the ability to make a better game, so this must have been deliberate.

ability to make better game? just if tey released pCARS2 wit better fbb and like only 10 more tracks and 30 more cars than current pCARS2 wit all dlc it be like 250-300 cars and 150 tracks (?) and it would be success game. ffb in pCARS2 was main con, if tey only fixed ffb and just add some cars for nobody to tell em tey publish pCARS2 again an name it 3. And leave everything as it was in pCARS2 it would be successfull game and all pCARS2 owners would just swap games to have better ffb and even more cars/tracks. now tey made game totally different, and most pCARS2 owners and likers as myself wont touch pCARS3, and market tey aimed for Forza and Gran turismo owners wont touch it too cause tey already have their forzas and GTs, so tey like lost all fanbase and gain no new fanbase, what tey was thinking? tey just shoot themselfes in pants

but to add better, tey not only removed what was good in pCARS2, made it arcade, tey also removed cars and tracks. even if tey publish pCARS2 again wit just new ffb it would be better than currently, for currently i heard tey even worsened ffb, and content is less, yo have less cars and tracks than in pCARS2 wit all dlc,, and pCARS2 is still better game now
i first time in my life see devs making them pretty succesfull game so much worse than others. like people talkin abous every year battefield or call of duty or assassin creed is worse than previous,, but it was never at this scale as sms massacred their own pCARS franchise, tey lost all fans and not gain more

I'm thinking they knew this was the end of their series so they put in the least amount of effort (and money) in order to get a title on the market. The franchise can't recover from this and I'm sure they were aware of it.

All assets recycled, adjust the front end, remove the sharp edges rather then refine them, tell both ends of the market its for them, and then wait for the money to roll in. No doubt banking on the limited expenditure and existing user base to make profit.

i agree, previous both titles were good but simracers not liked it cause tey used to too hard sims (as pro drivers even tell, current sims are too hard) if sim is easy driving tey consider it arcade even if easier may mean more real driving.. they knew it was over, tey made last game at easy effort an hope maybe many casuels come an tey make money from it, and maybe if tey make more money i dont think tey make pCARS4 as best sim, tey saw sim community dont liked their sims, and if tey success wit pCARS3 tey see tey can make money on casuels an tey definitely go tis way. its end for us

I'm sure that PC3 exists because they can't do better than PC2.
That's what people can't understand. It's not so easy.

I just read that Ian Bell has been clear, it's a fun Sim and that's what i praise of my wishes. There is a big place for such game.

A french tester said that the handling is better than FM7, hopefully tomorrow i will be able to check it by myself.

By the way i don't understand people still talking about the crowfunding of Pcars 1, it's moot.

If you are sure, it must be true! After all, if they had been able to "do better", they would most likely had fixed it before dumping it. It is indeed, very hard to understand, thank you for enlightening us with your sharp insight. It is comforting to see Ian Bell reaching one of his target audience, even if I have my doubts there will be enough of you, out there, to make their latest effort worthwhile.

hopefully tomorrow i will be able to check it by myself.

One can only hope.:) I wish that you are not disappointed and maybe finally find the SIM of your dream.

Thanks to make comments about my comments, nothing else better to do than doing bullshit?
If you have something to say go for it. lol

I purchased Project Cars 3 knowing what I was getting into and having driven around some tracks with a small selection of cars and also having done some screen shots already :rolleyes::roflmao: the FFB is ok once I dialed in my TSXW...in fact the FFB in PC3 feels like a very, very early version of FFB testing that Reiza had in AMS2 ...I have no regrets in purchasing PC3 as it is giving me personally what I want out of it so far ...having said that, the AI are not so good and do need improving :(....which I am sure will be 'patched / fixed' at a later date.

On another note, the direction that Slightly Mad / Codemasters went with the Project Cars 'Madness Engine' franchise, for me personally at least, was the right direction, for the way I see it Reiza's 'Automobilista 2' uses the Madness Engine as well so it would be a conflict of interest that Mr Bell would let Reiza use / license / purchase or whatever agreement they had amongst themselves to have 2 versions of the awesome Madness Engine out there, which may have hurt Reiza's chance.

Personally, I see that I am getting 2 versions of the Madness Engine...one 'arcade'ish' game which is now Project Cars 3 and one awesometacular Sim version of the Madness Engine which will be Reiza's 'Automobilista 2'...covering both sides of the possible target market.:thumbsup:
...just my 2 cents ;):)

i thought it too maybe sms take % from reiza profits? or i dont know, but i was thinking same pCARS3 will be my guest sim , but i wont pay so much money on thing ill show only to my casuels an i not play it myself.. and i dont think i will enjoy pcars3 when i saw tis ugly footage of electric road car taking gt3 and f1 at first straight in 3-5 seconds after start. also tis thing tey no more have classes only performance ratin, an even if ill anjoy game i want to go online and drive gt3 race or f1 race or other gt vintage cars or lmp cars and i cant cause i choose to play gt3 car an i will racing agains f1s and ferrari la ferrari road cars cause it has similar performance rating, thats big no go to me. also yo saw footage i posted abous tis electric road car? it took from p32 to p3 in like 5 seconds at first straight, so powerfull, it took lot of gt3 car, now remember drivin gt3 at monza first turn? now imagin yo goin online wit yo max upgraded road car an all in lobby has same max upgraded car tey like 2-3 times faster than gt3 car now imagine what happens at that speeds? people cant handle gt3 cars at monza first turn now tey have road car that are 3 times faster imagine how tey now take first turn at monza? thats fun? just cause yo speed up so fast thats fun? it may be in real life but not in game when yo enjoying being best at qualy then to make full race without crashin. and tey took out qualy and its hard to crash cause yo have "drift mode" engaged each time yo spin, thats no fun for simracer who each time he crash he gets exparience not to crash like that again, but those are experience in his head, he teaches himself. in pcars3 yo gain experience too, but its fake experience for catchin this on road markers then yo spend yo experience on upgrades to yo car.. thats big no to me
2020 so bad year rip pcars 2015-2020 [*]
