Interesting track additions to the game include a first officially recreated version of the beautiful Knockhill circuit in Scotland, an historic version of Spa and of course the now essential version of the Nordschleife... in nine different versions!

So after the recent car list reveal, now we know about the tracks, we've seen plenty of screenshots and we've heard about the options and eSports elements of the title. All we need to do is wait for September 22nd and play the game ourselves!

Project CARS 2 will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC 22nd September 2017.

I fully expected most of the track content to be recycled. However, it is an interesting question to ask whether the amount of new tracks and which new tracks are included would be an inducement to upgrade for those people who have PC1. Sounds like not likely, but if combined with new cars and the new weather stuff and improved FFB and physics, then the whole package is worth the outlay (compared to what other titles provide for the same $).

I'm curious how they got three circuits out of Texas Motor Speedway. There's the 1.5 mile oval, the .25 mile flat oval in the tri-oval grass, and a flat roval with entry and exit off the backstretch. Might be two versions of the roval and no mini-oval.

And about "asset recycling"... Would you rather PCARS throw away all of their old tracks and only include the new ones? DiRT has done that for a number of years and it sucked.

Even if tracks have been updated, we do have the weather options and those lucky enough to have HDR displays should see rather splendid addition to the atmosphere the game visually generates or accomplishes over the original.

If they had cut tracks people would complain. SMS can't win work some people

A lot of peoples noses are left out of joint by SMS pumping out pCars and a bunch of DLC then abandoning it early in its half baked state to work on pCARS 2. So whats the big mystery about them having to prove themselves this time around? I'm sure if its the greatest sim ever the real reviews will show this and SMS will win with 'some people'.
