PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Season 6 Review ​

.What can i say, Season 6 has been my best Season in a very long time. I started the season well to have a slump period of bad luck and just lack of pace mid-season. Changing to the Renault Helped Me To Re-gain some of the Raw Pace I Lost Back On Pcars 1 getting consistent finishes, Once i changed to the Audi I Felt Like My Old Self Again and Ended The Championship On A High Sealing 3rd In The Drivers Title and with Plenty of Motivation going into S7 i really needed that win and i drove to my limit to make sure i kept it.

.Firstly Id Like To Thank My Teammate And Fellow Snake - Benjamin McCluskey i know you've had a tough road threw this Season but you stuck with it and helped to push me on when i wasn't the most motivated to race and pushed me to get back to my old self so Thank you for that. S7 we will do better i can feel it

.Secondly I Have To Thank Everyone Involved In Helping Me Keep This League A Float 3 Plus Years We Have Been Racing Here And I Hope We Can Keep Going. Without All Of You It Wouldn't Be Possible So I Couldn't Thank You All Enough. Special Shout-out To @Ben Milden whos stuck with me and this group from Day1 and does all he can to make this place the best it can be. Awesome Work Dude.

.Last But Not Least To All The Drivers In S6 Thank you For Racing In The TNGTC May It New Drivers Or Current i know it can get abit competitive here and drivers can lose there tempers but we always come out of it stronger than ever so again thank you to everyone involved from Drivers to Staff. I Hope To Make It Even Better In The Future.

Liam might of been there to help me but I couldn’t read so far back in the standings

On a serious note, been decent season, good racing for most of it, another drivers and teams title which wasn’t really going for at start of the season, but liam was there to help wrap up the teams even though he sucked in the Audi, bmw, Ferrari, Aston, Ginetta, Porsche,

S6 review

Came into this season low on confidence season 5 had been a nothing season for me so was just looking to get back near the front

Well I did that with a consistent season and hopefully produced some exciting racing as I always seemed to be fighting someone. 6 podiums and only 1 non points finish (11th algarve) seems crazy I finished 2nd for a 3rd time. Really enjoyed the racing to be honest and monza was just about the highlight

Like to thank @Scooby555 for getting my motivation back I’m sure we can be a force if you go for it next season. Well done on your wins and setup help

Is this season review mandatory?

SEEKS'S SEASON REVIEW

My aim at the start of the season was to get into the top 5 and i almost did it in race 1. That really got my tail up for the season, but i didnt expect to break into the top 5 at one of my worst tracks, dubai. Very surprising p4.

That set the tone for the whole of the mid season where i would get into the top 5 a few more times and have genuinely decent pace.
Unfortunately I lost motivation and tailed off towards the end, but ended with another top 5 last night.

Overall, i think this season has been a success as I've shown real progression. Next season's target has to be a podium i suppose.

Anyway, thanks everyone for the season blah blah blah. See you in a few weeks hopefully refreshed and ready to go again.

P.s. look out for my end of season montage when i get back from holiday at the end of the month.

So my S6 Report.


My start to the season was solid but uninspiring, but i lost motivation very quickly, and nearly quit after about 3 rounds. I stuck around, and switched to the M6 at COTA. That race is what really got me back up for it, another amazing fight with Ben, and then a charge through in the sprint. A win at the Red Bull Ring, and alot of consistent podiums pushed me up to P3 in the table. A switch to the Audi ensued, and dispite a win in it at my first event, i really couldnt get along with the Audi. I slowly slipped down the order down to P6. I nearly improved my position at daytona but just missed out. Season 7 i will hope to come back stronger, having learnt alot in S6. Now the soppy bit.

@Adam Morris Well you were the one who convinced me to stay, and i guess you can say you finally beat me! Enjoy it while it lasts

Everyone else, i've enjoyed racing you all over this season! In 3 weeks, we start it all over again!

I'm going to do things a little differently now. I'll be posting setups that are made at COTA so that they can used on a wide variety of tracks. You'll still have to change downforce, pressures, ducts, etc on a track by track basis, but the overall setup should work from track to track. If these setups don't work on a particular track then I'll look at those tracks on a case by case basis.

I'm still working on the Lamborghini as well. It's very fast, but inconsistent and hard to drive at the moment. I should have the Lambo, Audi, GTR and Ferrari up by the end of the weekend. The M6, Porsche or Renault by early next week.

I've got some traveling with my new job, so I'll have to sort some things out. But even when I was home we were only getting maybe 6 people to show up, which isn't a very good race.
