I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Will Someone please explain to me the fing tire pressure. This piece of sh#t game is garbage. Every time I have a good tire pressure during practice the Game F's it up when the race starts. Is this a bug or is this what it is. I know I can set a tire blanket to what ever I want for temps in real life and that is what the tire will come out as.

You have to set tire pressures based on compound in practice after running 5 at speed laps. That would be your tire pressure. At the start of the race your tires will be heated to 210'F which is actually a bit high for most tires. So don't worry about the start of the race. Set your pressures based off 5 lap readings. These Pirelli tires don't like to run over 200'F or they start sliding around. On the other side Hard tires don't like to run below 190'F or they feel like the cold tires on PC1.

Thanks the problem is I get the tires set to what feels good then at the start of the race they are .4 to .5 bars higher andx then they are running cold. i will mess with it tomorrow. I got so frustrated that i was ready to quite this game until the first patch is out. I still may, not sure. I will try what you suggest. Depending on the next race will be the deciding factor if i stay or postpone to see what the patch fixes. Didn't have this problem in Pcars 1. Cold tires i could deal with. At least it didn't jack your tire pressure up at the start of the race.

Can't find your Xbox Gamertag, Shea. What kind of times do you run at Daytona RC and Watkins Glen?

Running a consistent 1:47.5xx right now at Watkins Glen on 25 liters of fuel and hard slicks. Will test Daytona and update you. I'll send you a message or friend request.

Edit:
Watkins Glen - 1:45.340 (25 liters & Hard slicks)
Daytona RC - 1:47.567 (25 liters & soft slicks)

Its probably not you its the Car, the Nissan is best suited on handling tracks as it has a lot of downforce. The Glen likes downforce. Since you missed the first race I would look into running AM though.

I know I can shave a second or so if I get accustomed to the track. I'll go Am, I'm just looking forward to my first more official sim league race. May be getting a teammate so look out for that update
