PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

People have been getting pens without even touching the white line never mind crossing them to go all four out lol,

Isn't that why we are doing a test race, to see what works and what doesn't @Adam Morris? Obviously we all want to do well, but it is only a test race, so why not try everything at some point in the night?

I haven't seen that at all. If you are talking about having a time deleted when you start a new lap that's because a corner was cut near the end of the previous lap.

I’ve had lap times not register and got a laptime disallowed for a downshift before a corner

Pens are not working at the moment it seems the consensus of opinion

Was it one of the first corners on the lap? I've literally never had a lap time deleted that shouldn't have been.

Yea if you get a notification saying lap deleted at the end of a previous lap it will automatically delete the next lap. But it won't say the next lap is deleted until you're a corner or two into the lap. It happens all the time. It's not broken just not very clearly explained in game.

Didn’t you know downshifting will invalidate your lap time?

Manual Pit Stops will be turned - off for this event it may be a test but it will be ran in a league scenario and trusting everyone to use the pit limiter properly after watching people in practice would mean i have to police it so for the time being its automatic no one can speed then. this is set to change for Test 2 where In Game Penalties will be used as well as various other features Test 1 is mainly for connection between drivers when we have more than 10 drivers in a race and also to get a idea of how many of us will be actually racing in S6.

Also in Regards to Rolling Starts we will be doing it Manually Ourselves, the leader will take the pack round like we did on Assetto and the Formation point and Acceleration point will be posted on psn before the race there has been 1 lap extra added to both races to account for that. Once in formation car will sit 2 by 2 until the leader gets the race underway.

There is loads,
I’ve also had pens for when passing pit entry on racing line comes up saying about 37mph speed limit, then as I’m couple car lengths passed entry comes up giving me a penalty

Also had pens given to me for passing a car that’s on it’s out lap but I’m on a hot lap lol
