Pitstraight to be driven with electric motors

I thought they were scrapping the whole KERS/pit lane idea as it would be a safety hazard for people to not hear the cars coming. They were talking about it on BBC earlier this year.

Wait for some photographers being catch by a car... when you have to move in the pit straight the sound of the cars is a good reference, toguether with the loud "beep, beep, beep" it sounds when a car is entering the pitlane.

I get the feeling that when you spend all season in the pit lane, that 'beep beep beep' would blend into the background and go un-noticed.

I've followed F1 since I was ten in 1971.The day it goes to full electric motors is the day I completely tune out and turn off the television. I remember the turbo era, so the prospect...even with half the cylinders we have today is not all that bad. Full electric motors I'll pass on.
