Hey Jarrod , quick question: what version of 3dsmax are you using? Coz a lot of people with 3dsmax 2009 are reporting scene loading failures. Any idea why that happens?

I'm using 2012. As for the failures are you making sure your saving the scene as a compatable version.

Hi and thanks for the skins. But how is it working with my steam installation? I don't have the folder given above and if I put the stuff in the ..\steamapps\..\race07\customskins folder nothing happens.

For Vista/7: Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\CustomSkins

For XP: My Documents\SimBin\RACE 07\CustomSkins

It should exist, but if not, you can create the folder. The ...\steamapps\.. location was only used on early versions, latest patches no longer use it.

You are right, the folder is there. I just forgot that I had redirected my Documents folder to another location on another partition. After copying the folder into custom skins, they were there in the game. However, I now have 2x 24 drivers, i.e. the default ones (Driver One ... 24) are still there as well with their boringly colored cars. Any ideas? Thanks!

The default drivers will always be there as they are part of the game
