Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T Engine

Chevrolet Cruze 1.6T 2011 Engine physics. This engine is based on data from the WTCC website. The engine has 315 horsepower @ 7750 rpm and 412 nm @ 2500 - 4750 rpm.

This is only the .eng file. You will need the WTCC 2009 mod to run this engine. http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=25953

Let me know if you like the engine!
Copy the 2009_Chevrolet_Lacetti.eng file to GameData\Teams\WTCC_2009\Chevrolet Lacetti 2009\
And it should be running fine.

You will need the WTCC 2009 mod to run this engine.

Known issues:

Flickering on grandstands and pit building
Gaps between several track GMTs
Pit building is not the modern version
Track-side buildings still have original F1C textures although now with bump mapping.
Some shadows pop-up in TV cam

-

General information:

Track supports forty vehicles on grid
Runs at constant 70FPS+ here (full detail, 1080p 6xAA), but if you struggle with framerate issues then turning track detail from Full to High will remove 95% of the 3D crowds. Further performance can be gained by turning shadows from Max to High.

Many thanks for this superb mod !

Except Melbourne and Adelaide, are there other australian tracks available for the Race Serie ?
I already downloaded a version of Bathurst but don't have the password to extract it. Is it somewhere uncrypted to be found ?

Thanks in advance.

FVR V8SC2011 Aussie V8 Touring Cars Patch 1.97.23

Welcome to the FVRV8 2011 Aussie V8 Touring Car Series v1.97.23 patch by the FVRFactor.com mod team!!

This is a patch for the current Race 07/GTR Evo/STCC/RaceOn/STCC2 version of the all new 2011 FVRV8 rFactor mod and uses the same car models as from that mod.

Features added to the Race 07 release:
- Custom Skin support using the "CustomSkins" folder .ini system
- Animated wipers
- Wet tyres tyre physics models
- Functioning Rain/Dirtscreen

Known issues:
- Non-adjustable Final Rear Diff Ratio. The Aussie V8 Series use fixed gearbox ratios with 4 final diff ratios to choose from. Race 07 Series doesn't support this being adjustable, so we have made the gearbox adjustable with all ratios that would be available via those 4 diffs.
- If you select Heavy Rain, the AI won't get the correct tyres, this is due to Simbin not working corectly with more than 2 tyre compounds.

Installation:
- extract to main Race07 folder

e.g.

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\**you-user-name**\race 07\

- dbens1
- Bebop1
- Simbin (of course)
- V8 Supercar organisation, their teams and drivers
- You, the Sim Racing Community!

v1.97.23 patch

- corrections to the wing mirrors shadow casting on the FG

The .aiw (AI) does need to be complete enough to actually race on it, or the cut zones and timing won't work, so if the AI drivers are not following the track layout, then you will have problems. If the AI follow the layout badly, but still get around the track, then it can by raced online....

P.S. I hate AIW files.....

Me too... Like i said, the AI is rubbish, it won't even follow the correct line in all layouts (me think, none of them). This was just a proof of concept and to work out the kinks of multiple layouts. Never ever i'm going to do that again but it can be done. There was 4 more layouts planned but i got tired of drawing the AIW from scratch every effing time... That is why i left AI line the way it is. I might do update so that they will at least get around a track. All so, i learned how to drive a lot faster while making this and the eralier drafts of racing line didn't match anymore. There are some skidmarks that are not on the optimal line but they are close enough.

Here's a teaser from the next project:
