Is there also a High Res skin version? Or is this the only one? The cars look great inside but on the outside they look low res.
But they are great to drive. Very easy to catch oversteer.

these beasts are real RWD classic Porshes and I guess it could be better to find out this by yourself rather than asking these question

this is a direct port of the version of the track found in the gtr expansion 'king of ovals' - cheers you simbins! - done on special request for my good man kb and season 1 of the racedepartment atcc league...

all the usual guff was done; rain reflections, animated marshals, blah blah blah... i even made a basic marshal platform so the little yellow dickheads could been seen above the catch-fencing...

once again, ra ra ra for the lovely mr ironbyte, who smacked up another of his tasty cam files for me.... o7

there's a coupla bad polys in the infield area that show black.... you won't even notice them... i may fix them in a future update...

STCC Driver Menu Image - Template

Where as Race 07, GTR Evolution and Race On use an menu flag STCC uses an image of the driver. With this template your able to reproduce this.

Template includes the following:

Background
Firesuit
Area to place self pic
Frame

Custom Skin Support for WTCC2008

CustomSkin Support WTCC 2008 for Race ON
Version: 0.9

Not all WTCC 2008 Cars in Race ON supports Custom Skins.

It is am Mistake from Simbin and we will hope, it will patched.

Until official Simbin-Fix, I made this patch for it.


Just copy the Gamedata-Folder in your Race07-Folder.

The Tags for the "ini´s" are:

[Chevrolet Lacetti 2008]

[Honda Accord R 2008]

[Seat Leon 2008 TDI]

[Seat Leon 2008]

Bugs: No support for the Volvo.

I can't find the mod after install. I'm using the offline version so I renamed the Textures-folder as said. I don't get a button for this mod in the menu.

Painkiller - Do you have a Blank button in the car selection menu? On my install I have a blank button - click on it and your taken to these awesome machines!

problem is that moving button files to UIData/Menu/Textures_Mamba will solve the problem only when you are using Evo skin

1. UIData/Menu/Textures - button will show in all skins
2. UIData/Menu/Textures_Mamba - button will show only in Evo skin
3. UIData/Menu/Textures_Frog - button will show only in STCC skin
4. UIData/Menu/Textures_Toad - button will show only in RaceON skin

so copy files from installation archive from UIData/Menu/Textures_Mamba to UIData/Menu/Textures and it will solve all problems

I find the veiw when using the original helmet overlay very restrictive, I did want to get rid of it all together but the bugs still splatter on the visor which looks and feels odd in game.

So Ive modded the helmet cam for the Mazda in Race On.

Just unzip to - Steam\SteamApps\YOURSTEAMPROFILENAME\race 07

And it should work (should also work with other open wheelers).

Thanks for the correct instructions on "where" to put the files. In the main race 07 folder NOT the Gamedata\Teams folder. This fixed a lot of issues for me.
