Sector3 Studios have revealed a first preview of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience in the very near future.

Due to form the first of an initial three Porsche DLC packages, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup will be made available as part of the upcoming December build update, due to release as additional paid content alongside two other as yet undisclosed vehicles from the German racing marque.

Real wheel drive, 485hp and coming in a standardised 'spec' performance, the 911 GT3 Cup car is world renowned for both the competitive and popular nature of the various national and international one make series under which it competes.

A little while ago we had the opportunity to try this still in development car for ourselves, and we were very impressed! Check out our early impressions in the video below:

RaceRoom Racing Experience is available exclusively to PC on a free to play platform with additional content available at a further cost.

He is talking about the oscillation/wobble in sound (transmission/engine sound wobble) as you shift. I cant say if its on this car but many race cars have that wobble in the sound as you shift.
Yup. Theres a bit of a wobble here and there, but not quite the bang you´d expect from a sequential racing gearbox. Noticed it on basically any car in the game.

Anyway, looking forward to it.

The question is, is there a wobble in real life?

Also Anthony Monteil has mentioned a few times they are fairly limited by the audio engine in certain areas (like the randomness of backfire sounds), so that might have something to do with it as well. I'm sure he'd be the first one to wish they could have the audio as real as possible.

Very excited about the ever growing GT3 cars to be sure. Someone educate me please, can you race multi-class events in RR and if not any speculation as this being a possibility in the near future?
The cars are quite nice, but I would love to see a few more classic tracks on offer.
Although officially Lars Hansen is correct, if you pop over to the RR Forum you will find there is now a car selector Mod available, perfect for removing the old GT3 cars, if that's your thang!

As for the Porsche's, cup cars with no TC or ABS and nearly 500bhp, should be great fun and with demise of the RUF GT3 car next Tuesday I'd say a GT3 spec Porsche is a given, what the 3rd car will be is anyone's guess but my money's on a GT4 to go with the KTM and ?????

I didn't even consider the possibility of editing an existing class but that would be nice to do as well to capture only the latest GT3 cars would be awesome. Thanks for the tip.

P1 would be a nice addition to the Audi.
