Yeah that is a good question, cause they had the wheels set up for Consoles only and was using a xbox controller for PC...seems odd like maybe they haven't got the PC wheel support nailed down yet. I'm thinking there is going to be a day 1 patch as well. as they are still working on the game and its already gone to print.
Here is another good video of Adaptive AI in career mode. Looks better than blowing by them. A good day for a Low Budget team is a top 15-20.

Really good sign there. In years past (2014) the A.I. would not only *be* on rails but have the weight of a locomotive. So if they were moving across your nose or rear, you were going to spin if they didn't sense you. These guys seem to both have less weight (good for the contact sport that it is) and also sense you.

So no 5 Hour Energy? NASCAR 15 did the same thing with Bowyer and Kurt Busch, except they just excluded his Monster car and got rid of the little Monster logo on the hood. I know there wont be any alcohol sponsors like back in the EA days (Mark Martin and Viagra lol), but why no to energy drinks but yes to Pepsi and Coke?

Nascar Heat Stream.png

Dusenberry Martin Racing and Monster Games have run yet another gameplay live stream, this time showing off the upcoming NASCAR Heat game with NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Matt Tiff, driver of the No. 24 JGL Racing Toyota Camry.

The latest gameplay steam shows Tiff competing in his Camry around the American Sonoma Raceway road course, scene of round 16 of the NASCAR Xfinity Series and sometimes World Touring Car Championship host. Tiff also tries is hand at the game around a night race challenge on the Charlotte Motor Speedway, pitting his skills against his 6 Toyota rivals on the quick US oval. Other circuits to receive some attention are the Homstead Miami Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway and a personal favourite of mine, Michigan.

NASCAR Heat Evolution Twitch Stream Featuring Matt Tifft & Sonoma Raceway

Judging from the video it appears that the annoying over dramatic tyre smoke still remains in the game, however the version played by Tiff could yet be an early beta and may be subject to change before a full release from the studio.

NASCAR Heat Evolution is due for release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 13th September 2016.

Check out the RaceDepartment NASCAR Heat Evolution sub forum for news and discussions regarding the latest instalment of the popular NASCAR game franchise.

Looking forward to NASCAR Heat? Do you think a NASCAR game will have a strong audience outside of America? Let us know in the comments section below!

It is annoying, but it's the full game as it'll be released.
In the stream before this one they said that it was something they'd look at, and maybe patch in a later build, but for right now it is what it is.

Still really looking forward to this one.
Whatever niggles there may be in the graphics department, the game itself can't possibly be any worse than the offers in the last few years. :D

have anybody access to a beta version to confirm if there is head tracking support? Is it true, you can't setup different fov in cockpit view? How is a caution working? Like in nascar15 where you can't drive manually behind the pace car? Can you drive manual in pit like iracing or Rfactor2?

The stream wasn't a selling point for me. But again its the only full NASCAR game on the next gen console. I'm hoping the AI is tougher than in the video, and the Tire Smoke isn't that big of deal. Hoping Career mode will be deep and challenging.
I'm starting a Xbox1 League for this game on here. If you know anyone on XB1 who likes NASCAR we'd like to have them.

Great stuff Paul. I'm still looking forward to this as well, especially after the Assetto disappointment. Fingers crossed (again).

Looks wise it's probably a 7/10. Sonoma looked ok but the night race had some good ambience to it and looked the business.

Looks like it was on a kind of 95% difficulty level. Will be interesting to see how it develops.

It's good to see they brought on board lots of drivers to test the game and give feedback.

Next live Twitch is going to be with a wheel. I think it will be a good show of the game with a wheel. I do like the fact that the game is not smooth at all with a Pad. Unlike Forza 6 where I swear the game was designed for pad players only, as my wheel feels like absolute rubbish on it.
Jeff Favignano of iRacing says the wheel feels awesome with the game.

Can you give a date & time?

NASCAR Heat look at Challenges.jpg

Dusenberry Martin Racing and Monster games have given fans a little more insight into the returning Challenges feature within the NASCAR Heat Evolution game. Sharing some details on how the challenges are presented, and what fans can expect to be pitched up against once the game hits the digital shelves on September 13th.

While challenge events have been missing from recent editions of the game, Dusenberry Martin Racing and Monster games have taken the decision to return the popular feature to NASCAR Heat Evolution. Due to release with a total of 23 unique challenges (one for each track), the game will give you an opportunity to either "replay history, rewrite history, or take control of a fantasy situation".

With the successful completion of each challenge you will be rewarded with a "Toyota Track Tip" video featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Toyota drivers. Below is a sneak peak of the Denny Hamlin Daytona video:

DMR and Monster games have confirmed additional challenges will be made available as both free and paid DLC post game release.

Below are three examples revealed by DMR of the type of challenges available in NASCAR Heat Evolution:
  • Bristol: Take the wheel as Matt DiBenedetto at the Food City 500 and see if you grab a 6th place finish, or better!
  • Dover: Relive the final laps of the 2016 AAA 400 Drive for Autism as Matt Kenseth. Can you fend off Kyle Larson and Chase Elliot to take home the checkered flag?
  • Talladega: Think you’re as good at restrictor plate tracks as Dale Earnhardt Jr? Hop in the driver seat at Talladega and fend off the entire field as you race for a 1st place finish. Get ready, this one is tough!

If you missed it first time around, you can view the official trailer below.

Hm. On official site I don't see information about PC platform. Are you sure about it?
