I'm interested to see all the stuff that (I pay but) I don't have.
You know, now thinking about it...
it reminds me of that Beyonce's song "Best thing I never had". Somewhat.
Game still sucks -- I am so annoyed by the "stutters" about half way through the lap. It's like the game is trying to calculate what is going to happen with the AI on the next lap and it's absolutely undrivable.
Also, can we get rid of the stupid ass names over opponent cars? I don't care who is driving what car in an offline race.
A look left / look right button would sure be nice, as well.
It's nice they're getting the low hanging fruit like keyboard menu navigation and stuff but for this game to perform so badly on a 4.6GHz i7 4790K with 32GB RAM and a GTX 1080 8GB video card is just insane.

About stuttering... I have notice ..something.
Perhaps my slightly lower pc spec save me from the worst ?
I have i5 3570K, gtx 770, 8G ram.
Since game looks quite outdated, maybe they made it for some slightly older spec pc's ?
Like Pentium II, say.
Or that or they have made it for Deep Blue ? Two.
Or... neither of those,
maybe they just made ...a mistake.

)Here is a self installing EXE version of the Miller Lite car. Really cool feature of the Unity Assets Bundle Extractor (UABE) utility.
Just point it at your steamapps\NASCAR Heat Evolution folder and give it a couple of minutes to extract, make backups of the old files, and swap out the original file for the "modded" file.
NOTE: This self-installer only works on 64-bit systems!

Templates will be my next mission. The meshes are easily extracted, but all of the UVW's are on one single mapping layer so there is no way to isolate only the body.
To add custom skins, you'll likely have to "replace" an existing driver to use your livery, but it's also possible more drivers could be added via that CSV file I discovered. That's a lot more than I wanted to dig into today. Just wanted to prove some concepts.

An interesting 'mod' idea might be to use the #28 from Yates, #36 from MB2, #8 from DEI and #99 from Roush but stay with white numbers and a neutral outline color.
