Welcome to the RD Assetto Corsa Racing Club. This Sunday we're at Donington for some National - GT action!!

All race department premium members using their full real name in the forum and in game can sign up for this event.

Event details:

• Track: Donington Park National
• Pit stop: MANDATORY STOP between 10 and 40 minutes.
• Track Condition: Clear, Light wind, optimal track surface.
• Track Temp: 25C
• Damage: 10%
• Standing Start: Jump Start = Drive through penalty

Server Details:

• Hosted on RaceDepartment.com Server 8 (Available throughout the race week)
• 20:00 CET, 19:00 UTC | 75 minutes - Official Practice
• 21:15 CET, 20:15 UTC) | 15 minutes - Qualification
• 21:30 CET, 20:30 UTC) | 50 minutes - Race

[Interslice]

A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule

1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

1. You will get 2 warnings before a 5 second penalty for exceeding track limits to your advantage. Any warnings/penalties are displayed in the chat window at the end of each lap.

This. That Porsche 963 is an absolute blast to drive. I've had the urge to race that URD Porsche GT-3 lately as well.

Sorry I baled out early guys, my ping shot up which was a bit off- putting, then a spin and red hot tyres to go with the red hot room so watched for a bit from pits.
Thanks for organising Brian, great combo, I wont make next week and then off on holiday for a few weeks so see you all mid September.

A result that I am very happy with as Donington has never suited me. I changed the brake bias again on the track, which in my opinion noticeably changed the car's handling. 61 for Coppice, Roberts and Redgate, 64 for the rest of the track. Maybe it's my imagination, but I don't think so.

It was a lot of fun again today!

Enjoyed that racing last night. Luckily had the pace to keep up. It's a long time since I could still see Hank mid way through a race
